As a radical leftist, Nancy Pelosi is as pro-abortion as a politician can get.
Not only does she support abortion up until the moment of birth, but she also believes taxpayers should be forced to fund the taking of innocent life in America’s abortion mills like Planned Parenthood.
According to Pelosi, taxpayer funding of abortion is a “health” issue.
“It’s an issue of health of many women in America, especially those in lower income situations, and different states, and it is something that has been a priority for many of us a long time,” Pelosi stated.
But then Pelosi said something that infuriated Catholics.
Pelosi said that as a devout Catholic, she supports taxpayer-funded abortion as an “issue of fairness and justice.”
“As a devout Catholic and mother of five in six years, I feel that God blessed my husband and me with our beautiful family, five children in six years almost to the day,” Pelosi added. “But it’s not up to me to dictate that that’s what other people should and it is an issue of fairness and justice for poor women in our country.”
Of course, there is no Catholic Church teaching that says murdering innocent, unborn babies is a form of justice.
In fact, most Catholics find it disgusting when someone like Pelosi calls themselves a devout believer and faithful Catholic, as they reject one of the central tenants of Catholicism by supporting taxpayer funding of abortion.
