Despite the massive amount of evidence GOP lawmakers gathered connecting Joe Biden to Hunter’s questionable business dealings, this top House Republican just revealed why his caucus will ultimately refuse to impeach Biden.

Recently, the House Oversight Committee chaired by the Republican Congressman from Kentucky, James Comer, just hosted an impeachment inquiry hearing into President Joe Biden.

Representative Comer invited Hunter Biden, as well as several business associates to the Biden family such as Tony Bobulinski and Jason Galanis.

Also invited to appear was Hunter’s so-called “best friend in business” Devon Archer.

As one might assume to have happened, Hunter and Devon Archer were a ‘no show’ at the hearing, completely ignoring the Committee’s request.

Archer’s legal team responded to the invitation, arguing that “providing such short notice for a witness’ public appearance before the Committee on a matter of national importance is patently unreasonable.”

Many question if Archer’s current legal troubles are in part related to his refusal to testify before Congress.

He is currently expected to serve prison time as a result of his role in defrauding millions of dollars from a Native American tribe.

As for Bobulinski and Galanis, they both showed up and testified – it was not a good day for Hunter and Joe Biden.

In a previously delivered testimony, Devon Archer did state that Hunter Biden would place his father on speakerphone in order to speak directly with his business associates multiple times in previous years.

Galanis even confirmed Archer’s testimony when he claimed to recall a time when then-Vice President Biden hopped on speaker in order to talk directly with a Russian oligarch and former Mayor of Moscow.

In his opening testimony, Bobulinski mentioned three specific moments of Hunter Biden committing perjury.

Breitbart reported, “Bobulinski questioned the timing of when Hunter began to work with CEFC, he argued that Hunter did not tell the truth when he claimed that President Joe Biden never interacted with Hunter’s associates and that Hunter ‘lied’ about leveraging Joe Biden to receive a $5 million payment from CEFC.”

Bobulinski made the claim that Joe Biden was “more than a participant in and beneficiary of his family’s business.”

In his claim, Bobulinski stated that Joe Biden “was an active, aware enabler who met with business associates such as myself to further the business, despite being buffered by a complex scheme to maintain plausible deniability.”

The Republican Congressman from Tennessee, Tim Burchett, believes that the hearing will ultimately produce nothing meaningful, however.

As a sitting member of the House Oversight Committee, Representative Burchett told Fox News Digital that he guarantees that his colleagues are likely to not impeach President Biden.

Despite the monstrous amount of evidence against Joe Biden, he believes the idea of impeaching the President is as good as dead.

“Everybody’s gonna vote how they know they’re gonna vote,” Burchett told Fox. “What a lot of people are worried about [is] if we do have a vote. I want to vote on it up or down.”

Voting “up or down” is a term used for whether a vote is going to be roll-call or not.

Roll call votes include a public record of how each individual legislator voted so Americans would know exactly who voted for and against impeaching President Biden.

The alternative is a voice vote in which the majority decision is declared by the chair, which can and has been subject to scrutiny when used on controversial or difficult issues – no individual voting record is produced.

Burchett said that he believes that his fellow Republicans will remain loyal to their lobbyist allies by voting against impeachment, or even by killing the vote entirely.

The Tennessee Republican stated that many GOP lawmakers were telling their “K Street” lobbyists that they would not need to have a vote on impeachment, despite promising voters back home that they will demand to impeach Joe Biden.

Burchett’s response as to why they could be worried displayed exactly how embedded in the swamp even Republicans are.

“They told some of their K Street buddies, ‘I’m not going to vote for this thing,’ because they don’t think they’re gonna have to vote on it,” Burchett added. “They told people back home, ‘Oh, yeah, I’m gonna impeach.’”

Congressman Burchett reminded America that his colleagues in the House just “don’t have the guts to do it.”
