The radical Left have made every facet of American society political.
And the once respected sports world has begun to teem with leftist electoral politics.
But Charles Barkley spoke five words that could mean victory for Donald Trump this November.
Sports now mirror politics as Charles Barkley gets triggered over polarizing incident
Professional sports, once an outlet for Americans to get away from the “real world” have become deeply politicized in the past decade.
This became particularly so after Colin Kaepernick launched his anti-American national anthem protests in the NFL.
Since then, sports have unfortunately become intertwined with politics nonstop.
But the WNBA has been hyper-politicized and has a high concentration of vocal left-wing activists.
The league has a Social Justice Council, and its leaders openly endorsed Kamala Harris for President.
In 2020, the WNBA’s Atlanta Dream players even campaigned for radical Democrat and now Senator Raphael Warnock even though his opponent Kelly Loeffler was the team’s owner.
Loeffler was essentially forced to sell the team.
The WNBA fan base also skews heavily left-wing.
This is the environment in which basketball sensation Caitlin Clark entered the league.
The all-time NCAA scoring leader was the number one pick in the draft, but she was not embraced by the league.
Several players, coaches, and even broadcasters have had a lot of negative energy for Clark even though she has been nothing but professional.
And they are continuing to attack Clark even though she has become an industry unto herself, and is single-handedly responsible for the WNBA’s unprecedented growth.
Charles Barkley slam dunks on the WNBA
NBA Hall of Famer Charles Barkley appeared on Bill Simmons’ podcast to discuss how the WNBA has refused to capitalize on Clark’s stardom.
Barkley explained to Simmons, “These ladies—and I am a WNBA fan—they cannot have f***ed this Caitlin Clark thing up any worse if they tried. . .If you got people in a room, a bunch of dudes in a room, we couldn’t have came up with a master plan with what these women have done. This girl is incredible. What she did in college for women’s basketball, what she’s doing in the WNBA. . .The number of eyeballs she brought from the college to the pros and these women to have this petty jealousness, you say to yourself, ‘What is going on here?’”
Barkley’s attitude mirrors what’s going on in the 2024 Presidential election and explains why Donald Trump has a good chance of getting back in the White House despite outrageous levels of lawfare, election fraud, and media vitriol.
Trump’s political funeral seemed imminent after the way the media, Democrats and some Republicans handled the events of January 6.
But Democrats’ perversion of all democratic norms, and the Constitution, in pursuit of Trump’s pelt on the wall has further endeared him to voters.
As Barkley mentioned with the Caitlin Clark phenomenon, voters have essentially gone from thinking Democrats “cannot have f***ed this” up to wondering “what is going on here?”
Trump got even more popular after the bogus lawsuits and criminal indictments against him.
His Georgia mugshot turned into an iconic image.
After Trump’s conviction in his Manhattan show trial, even liberals were appalled, and some moderates who were on the fence pledged their support for Trump.
The same thing happened when Trump was nearly assassinated, an event which has effectively been covered up and forgotten by the corporate-controlled media.
Barkley added, “The stuff about [Clark] is petty and jealous.”
Despite a rocky start, Clark now has the third-best odds to win WNBA Most Valuable Player—not just Rookie of the Year, but league MVP—a thought that would have been inconceivable after her Indiana Fever’s 1-8 start.
Since then, Clark’s Fever have gone 18-9, the third best record in the league over that stretch.
The negative overreaction to Clark from the league, the disgusting treatment she’s received from her fellow players, and the continual flagrant fouls against her, have only made her more popular.
