This first sign of Chris Wallace’s betrayal of Trump supporters came with his extremely biased performance as moderator of the first Presidential debate in 2020.
It’s been all downhill for Wallace ever since.
And Chris Wallace burst into tears when he heard these five words on his old network.
The world is still cracking jokes about the abysmal failure of CNN+.
Chris Wallace doesn’t find the wisecracks funny.
However, Tucker Carlson couldn’t help but laugh at this comparison of Wallace and CNN+ – CNN’s disastrous streaming service that Wallace abandoned Fox News for – to President Biden’s latest failed venture.
The $300-Million CNN+ network lasted just shy of a month.
But leave it to President Joe Biden to make CNN feel better about their failure.
President Biden’s so-called “disinformation” czar at the Ministry of Truth the Biden administration set up within the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) only lasted a few weeks.
After a barrage of backlash, Biden DHS put the Disinformation Governance Board on an “indefinite pause” and Biden’s pick to head it, Nina Jankowicz, was forced to resign in disgrace.
The “indefinite pause” was good news for freedom of speech.
The Orwellian agency was discussing radical ideas like having the Board edit people’s tweets if they found supposed “misinformation.”
Daily Wire’s Matt Walsh recently appeared as a guest on Tucker Carlson Tonight and the two joked about the demise.
Walsh made one quip that isn’t sitting well with Carlson’s former coworker, Chris Wallace.
“I think it’s great news, it’s great news for us,” Walsh said to Carlson. “It’s really great news for CNN too. Because the Disinformation Board, it finally means something died faster than CNN+. So, they can take some solace in that I suppose.”
Carlson burst out into laughter at the comment.
However, it’s not sitting well with Chris Wallace, who left his job with Fox News – reportedly over a special program Carlson aired – to join CNN+.
No one is worried about Wallace’s hurt feelings at Fox News.
Walsh continued:
“They claim that it is supposed disinformation about the disinformation board that shut it down,” Walsh said. “That’s like if there was a new fire department that was set up in your town. And you have a fire at your house and you call the fire department. And they say, ‘well, screw that, we’re closing, we can’t come help you.’ That’s the whole reason you’re here, right, to do this. The disinformation board is supposed to shut down disinformation. The first piece of disinformation you should be able to shut down and expose is the disinformation about the board itself.”
However, Walsh pointed out that “disinformation” is really just a code on the Left for “information that is inconvenient for them,” or that “they don’t like.”
Of course, this is the difference between, “your truth,” and “the truth.”
As Walsh points out it’s circular logic to demand that feelings get to dictate what is true – when you don’t like a truth then it simply becomes no longer true just because you don’t like it.
“All we had to do with the disinformation board is point to it and say, ‘look at this thing that they’re doing,’” Walsh said. “And then the whole thing collapsed, just like that.”
That is a takeaway that needs to be remembered for the next woke trick up the radical Left’s sleeve.
