Senator Chuck Grassley (R-IA) has long been one of the top government watchdogs in Washington, D.C., but this may be his biggest score yet.
Grassley has been working overtime recently, investigating corruption within the FBI, namely the allegation that the bureau worked to cover up criminal allegations made against then-Vice President Joe Biden.
As you may remember, over the summer, the Senator announced to the American people that a FBI whistleblower had come forward with testimony that indicated the FBI ignored a tip from one of their own confidential human sources about a $5 million bribe the founder of Ukrainian energy company Burisma allegedly paid to Biden in order for the then-Vice President to pressure the Ukrainian government into firing an anti-corruption prosecutor investigating the company’s misdeeds.
Now, Senator Grassley has written a letter to Biden Attorney General Merrick Garland and FBI Director Christopher Wray in which he revealed what can only be described as an atomic bombshell.
According to Grassley, a new whistleblower has come forward to allege that the FBI deemed information it received about President Biden and his family’s alleged foreign influence-peddling scheme as “foreign disinformation” in order to discredit and coverup the allegations to protect Biden.
“In August 2020, and possibly earlier, Supervisory Intelligence Analyst Brian Auten opened the aforementioned assessment, which was used by the Foreign Influence Task Force to seek out CHS holdings at FBI Field Offices across the country relating to the Biden family and falsely discredit them as foreign disinformation,” Grassley wrote to Garland and Wray.
Based on the whistleblower’s testimony, Auten opened the assessment to discredit the corruption allegations against the Biden family just one month after U.S. Attorney Scott Brady, who was appointed by Trump Attorney General Bill Barr to lead the investigations into the Biden corruption, determined that the whistleblower who made the criminal allegations against the Biden’s was credible and requested that the FBI re-interview the source.
And Senator Grassley told both Garland and Wray point blank that he does not believe it’s any coincidence that the FBI chose to undertake such an assessment “to seek out CHS holdings at FBI Field Offices across the country relating to the Biden family and falsely discredit them as foreign disinformation” at that time.
Furthermore, the whistleblower revealed that “the Foreign Influence Task Force attempted to shut down” the CHS’s “reporting by falsely saying it was subject to foreign disinformation.”
“It should be emphasized that the basis for trying to shut down the Biden family [FD-1023 form] has been described to my office as highly suspect and is contradicted by other documents my office has been told exist within the Foreign Influence Task Force, FBI Seattle Field Office, FBI Baltimore Field Office, and FBI HQ holdings,” Grassley added.
Democrats and their media allies continue to claim that there is “no evidence” to support any of the Congressional investigations into Joe Biden’s corruption and Democrats’ weaponization of government.
But Chuck Grassley and others continue to produce more and more evidence that proves otherwise.
