House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) has surrendered the playing field to Chuck Schumer and the Democrats in typical establishment Republican fashion.
The new Speaker is proving he is just another in a long line of sell out Republicans who take leadership.
Johnson agreed to Schumer and Joe Biden’s demands for an outrageous $1.65 trillion spending bill to fund the federal government.
And not only does this bill not secure the border, Senate RINOs are actually working on an amnesty deal with Democrats.
In exchange for a $106 billion slush fund that includes $61 billion in funding for Ukraine, Senate Republicans are in return ready to accept automatic work permits for every illegal alien released into the country.
Even worse, their deal includes allowing a minimum of 5,000 illegal aliens flooding into the country per day.
And it includes taxpayer funded lawyers to aid the Biden administration in processing illegal aliens who make asylum claims into the country at an even quicker pace.
Republicans will receive some fig leaves of alleged border security that Senators admit aren’t real.
That’s because it will be left to Joe Biden to enforce them or not.
Since the Senate GOP is already all-in on the sellout, conservatives have made it clear to Speaker Johnson that his job is on the line over the spending bill.
Georgia Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene recently told War Room host Steve Bannon she would be making a motion to vacate the chair and remove Johnson as Speaker of the House if he caves in to the Democrats’ amnesty deal as part of a spending package.
“In my meeting with him yesterday and many other members of Congress, I let Speaker Johnson know that in no way shape and form will I support any type of [continuing resolution.],” Greene told Bannon.
“I told him yesterday in his office that I would vacate the chair, that that is absolutely unacceptable,” Greene continued. “And we actually have the power of the first, we’re the ones that are in control and we need to control the negotiation. I reiterated those same points this morning so the ball is in his court.”
Johnson is already facing a growing revolt on the Right over rolling over for Biden in the one-sided spending negotiations.
The message that agreeing to amnesty was the end of the line was received loud and clear by the Speaker.

While Johnson may be saying no for now, it will be important for House conservatives to hold him accountable.
The American people are sick and tired of out-of-control spending, foreign wars, and repeated GOP sell outs on vital issues.
Hopefully, Speaker Johnson now understands this and will respond accordingly, especially if he understands his job is on the line.
