The Democrat Party is still pushing hard to gain control of the U.S. Senate.
But those hopes are dwindling.
And Chuck Schumer lost his mind after this one Democrat was accused of domestic violence.
If Republicans don’t win either of the Georgia U.S. Senate runoff races in January, there will be a 50-50 split in the Senate.
Which is already horrible news for an incoming Biden/Harris administration in terms of being able to ram their radical socialist agenda through Congress and sign off on it all as soon as it hits the Oval Office.
But their outlook just got even darker as one of the Democrat candidates in the Georgia runoffs was just accused of domestic violence.
Democrat Raphael Warnock allegedly threatened to run over his wife with his car and then proceeded to run over her foot.
The Atlanta Journal Constitution reported:
According to the report, shortly after Warnock arrived at his wife’s home on Monday they began arguing about whether Raphael Warnock would allow his wife to apply for passports so that she could take their children to West Africa for her grandfather’s funeral.
Warnock told police that he had previously denied the request and that he didn’t have time to talk about it again, according to the report.
He told police that his wife refused to close the right rear passenger door of his car so that he could leave. He told authorities he began to “slowly” drive forward — and then heard his wife accuse him of driving over her foot.
This is the last news Chuck Schumer wanted to hear before the January 5 runoffs.
Even if Republicans win just one of the runoffs – which is more likely to happen than not – they will have a 51-49 majority in the Senate, and can stop most of the radical leftist legislation coming out of the U.S. House of Representatives from Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA).
Historically, American voters have been swayed away from voting for their preferred party candidate if they are involved in serious scandals like domestic violence and infidelity.
Especially in a deep south state like Georgia.
And with the focus and all eyes on the last two Senate races in Georgia, this news most certainly hurts the Democrat Party’s hopes to take any type of majority.
