CNN exposed the ace up Donald Trump’s sleeve that will kneecap Kamala Harris’ campaign

It could be game over for Kamala Harris if this trend continues.

If you exclusively consume news and information put out by Democrats’ media allies, you’d think Donald Trump’s campaign is doomed come November.

But there’s one secret about the Presidential race that they don’t want you to know.

And to the surprise of many, CNN exposed the ace up Donald Trump’s sleeve that will kneecap Kamala Harris’ campaign.

The tide is turning

For generations now, young American voters between the ages of 18 and 29 have leaned more left-wing than older, more experienced voters.

According to Tufts University’s Center for Information & Research on Civic Learning and Engagement (CIRCLE), it was that 18 to 29-year-old vote that helped lead President Joe Biden to victory in 2020, as he secured over 60% of that demographic’s vote compared to just over 35% for former President Donald Trump.

But while Democrats have long had a lock on the youth vote, the demographic is apparently not immune to the current political realignment seemingly sweeping the country.

As Puck News’ Peter Hamby noted, younger male voters in particular are largely flocking to former President Donald Trump’s campaign, viewing him as the “cool candidate” in large part thanks to his strategy of appearing on various podcasts, live streams, and YouTube channels that are beloved by younger Americans.

“Donald Trump, he plays golf with Bryson DeChambeau,” Hamby said. “He goes on [with comedian and pocaster] Theo Von. He talks about Zyns. And Democrats, I’m sorry, they haven’t had a cool guy candidate in a while.”

Democrats had hoped that Vice President Kamala Harris’ running mate, Minnesota Democrat Governor Tim Walz, pretending to be a working class hunter would help the campaign attract more male voters, especially within the younger demographic.

But as Hamby pointed out, Walz’s appeal was always only going to extend to woke, ultra-feminized, and effectively neutered quasi-men who were always going to vote Democrat.

“And with all due respect to Tim Walz, Tim Walz appeals to a lot of men,” Hamby explained. “He also appeals to that guy, Bruce, in Jeff’s package, he’s wearing a ‘Future Is Female’ shirt. That guy in Madison, Wisconsin, is already going to vote Democrat. I’m sorry.”

“It’s the economy, stupid”

CNN’s Dana Bash recently noted that Democrats have a glaring issue when it comes to appealing to younger male voters, as there is no Democrat who could effectively appeal to the demographic through popular podcasts like The Joe Rogan Experience.

“Can anyone name a Democrat who can go into the media spaces where Trump is popular, the Nelk Boys, Theo Von, Joe Rogan – and make the case for Harris? Bernie Sanders has done several of them, but it hasn’t moved the needle,” Bash said.

That has created a situation in which Democrats’ years-long stranglehold on the young male demographic has effectively evaporated.

“[Kamala is] only winning young men by three points over Trump,” Hamby explained. “That drift from 2020 is very real. Joe Biden, Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama twice, they could all count on young men, even if they were losing [with] older men. That advantage is now completely gone. A lot of it, I mean, we can get into why this is happening. Some of it is culture.”

Ultimately though, as Hamby explained, while Trump’s outreach and appeal to young men has certainly helped close the gap with the demographic, it’s the realities of attempting to get started in adult life under the economic disaster that is the Biden-Harris regime that has truly led young voters to begin looking outside the Democrat bubble.

“And so if you’re a young person, against all of the economic headwinds that currently exist in our society, and you’re trying to get access to the economy, get a job, get a loan, buy a car, it’s harder,” Hamby explained.

“That’s true for all young people,” he added. “But young men in particular feel that. And then on top of that, you have the anti-woke-ism and the pronouns stuff and the things that just appeal to young men.”

And in such a tight race for the White House, it could very well be Donald Trump’s efforts to reach out to younger voters that helps put him over the top on Election Day.
