Nielsen Media Research released quarterly reports earlier this week, and much to no one’s shock, CNN has lost almost 70% of viewers since Trump left office in January.
The network is in crisis mode as more and more viewers are opting to find their news somewhere else.
And now it looks like CNN is pushing this longtime anchor out the door and how they’re doing it will shock you.
The world of the Democrat-controlled media was rocked last week when news broke that CNN Golden Boy Chris Cuomo had been participating in strategy calls with his brother New York Governor Andrew Cuomo on how to best handle the growing number of women accusing the Governor of sexual harassment and assault.
You only have to watch CNN for a minute to realize they’re in the back pocket of the Democrat party, but now the curtain has been pulled back, and the actual proof has been leaked for all the world to see.
According to several reports, many staffers at CNN were upset by this revelation and felt it needed to be addressed by the powers that be at the network.
On a recent episode of CNN’s Reliable Sources, program host Brian Stelter, best known for not wearing pants during interviews and for his spewing of communist propaganda, posed a question about the Cuomo brothers’ incident to Left-wing extremist professor, Nicole Hemmer.
Stelter asked Hemmer if it was time for Chris Cuomo to take a step back from CNN, maybe take a leave of absence for a while.
“If Chris Cuomo wants to call into strategy sessions with his brother’s aides, shouldn’t he take a leave of absence from CNN?” Stelter asked.
Hemmer responded by telling Stelter it’s not unusual for people in the media and politicians to have relationships, “but if you entangle them, you have to be absolutely cautious about this.”
“A leave of absence is a good way to acknowledge the conflicts of interest that are there. This is something that should have happened and certainly should happen going forward if he wants to rebuild his credibility.”
It appears that CNN head honcho, Jeff Zucker, is trying to passively aggressively get a message to Chris Cuomo through Brian Stelter.
There is no way that Stelter would step out on that limb without already having approval from Zucker. It would be far too detrimental to his career as an anchor.
It looks as if CNN is trying to force Chris Cuomo to step away from the network until his big brother’s scandals, and his involvement, go away.
