People only know who Jim Acosta is because of how rude he was to President Trump.
He used every press briefing to attack Trump in order to get attention.
And now his career just took a huge turn proving he needs Trump.
The way the media behaved during President Donald Trump’s time in office was despicable.
At one time, it was their job to report the news, and treat the President with respect.
But they labeled President Donald Trump as an evil racist, and viciously attacked him every day he was in office.
Nobody made their career off of this shtick quite like Jim Acosta of CNN.
But now that it appears Trump is heading out the door, Acosta has been forced to find a new line of work.
He just announced that he is no longer a White House correspondent, and is instead taking what seems to be a demotion, as a chief domestic correspondent, and a weekend anchor.
During his tenure as CNN’s chief White House correspondent, Acosta made a fool of himself at the White House every chance he could.
Most infamously he found himself in hot water for putting his hands on a White House intern who was attempting to do her job.
At the 2018 press briefing, Acosta tried to claim that Trump’s claims about illegal migrant caravans coming to the border were fake.
This is despite the fact that there is documented evidence showing that illegal migrant caravans in the thousands had been attempting to flood the border.
President Trump pointed this out, but Acosta continued to tell Trump he was lying.
And eventually Trump told him “that’s enough,” and pointed to another reporter to get a question.
As an intern tried to take the microphone, Acosta refused, pulling it away from her, before asking in reference to the discredited Russia hoax, “Are you worried about indictments coming down in this investigation?”
Trump fired back at him:
“I’ll tell you what. CNN should be ashamed of itself having you working for them. You are a rude, terrible person. You shouldn’t be working for CNN. You are a very rude person. The way you treat Sarah Huckabee is horrible, and the way that you treat other people are horrible. You shouldn’t treat people that way.”
This exchange made Acosta famous on the Left, and he continued to antagonize Trump at later press conferences.
If Acosta continued in his position in the White House under Biden, he wouldn’t be able to have the fame he once had.
So it seems CNN doesn’t really want him in the position without Trump.
