CNN wants nothing more than to take Fox News off the air forever.
They are the only mainstream challenger to left-wing media dominance.
And CNN’s war on Fox News just reached new heights with a demand that changes everything.
After a rocky few months of Fox News infuriating Trump supporters by shifting to the Left in their coverage, Fox News seems to be trying to turn that around.
They hired former Trump White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany and have begun sharply creating a contrast between them and the mainstream media.
This was clearly a ratings-driven move, which was admitted by Fox Corporation CEO Lachlan Murdoch during a recent call with network investors.
“The main beneficiary of the Trump administration from a ratings point of view was MSNBC,” Murdoch said. “And that’s because they were the loyal opposition. That’s what our job is now with the Biden administration, and you’ll see our ratings really improve from here.”
Murdoch was simply pointing out facts.
MSNBC clearly labeled themselves as the opposition to Trump for the past four years, proudly labeling themselves as the network of the anti-Trump resistance.
But Fox News stating something similar has brought them intense scorn, and in a Baltimore Sun article, “journalist” David Zurawik wrote that Fox News should lose all access to the White House granted to media organizations.
Zurawik wrote in the Baltimore Sun:
“So, why treat Fox News in any way like a journalistic organization? Why let Fox enjoy any of the journalistic prerogatives, like a place in the White House press room or a press seat on Air Force One? Would you invite a political organization that has opposed your rightful election, like, say, the Proud Boys, on your plane?”
This sort of conspiratorial ranting isn’t shocking to find in a little-read rag like the Baltimore Sun.
But in order to amplify this call for removing Fox News from the White House, CNN’s Brian Stelter brought Zurawik on the air to basically read his entire article.
On @ReliableSources, @DavidZurawik goes on tirade about denying White House press passes to FNC, equates letting Proud Boys onto Air Force One with giving seats to Fox News. Pleased @BrianStelter: “You’re going to get attention for that.” pic.twitter.com/Ksl5u0fc2f

The banner at the bottom of the screen read “Right-Wing Radicalization Flows From Fox’s Shows.”
Stelter bringing Zurawik on his show is a way to call for a deathblow to their main competitor without directly calling for it himself.
Without White House access, Fox News would have a major competitive disadvantage that CNN would be able to enjoy to gain a clear upper-hand.
If anybody should lose access to the White House over biased reporting, it should be CNN, who spent four years spreading insane lies about former President Trump.
