Joe Biden has spent just over two years in office weaponizing federal agencies and blowing insane amounts of taxpayer money.
Now Rep. James Comer (R-KY) is taking aim at FEMA.
And you’ll be infuriated when you find out what he says the Biden regime is up to now.
The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) was created to help deal with the direst of emergencies.
When communities are hit by hurricanes, tornados, massive mudslides, and earthquakes FEMA shows up with food and water rations, their infamous trailer houses, and, of course, the ominous body bags.
But now, Rep. Comer, Chairman of the House Committee on Oversight and Accountability says FEMA has been funneling taxpayer money into fueling Joe Biden’s border crisis.
Rep. Comer, along with Foreign Affairs Chairman Glenn Grothman (R-WI) and Rep. Jake LaTurner (R-KS) is digging into what could turn out to be a massive new scandal for the Biden regime.
“The Committee on Oversight and Accountability is conducting oversight of the Federal Emergency Management Agency’s (FEMA) administration of the Emergency Food and Shelter Program (EFSP),” the lawmakers released statement. “Based on recent reporting, EFSP funds are possibly being used by certain NGOs to offset expenses incurred abroad in efforts to facilitate and incentivize illegal immigration to the United States. If true, this is a gross misuse of federal taxpayer dollars.”
The investigation was fueled in part by a recent report that the American Red Cross have been helping illegal aliens make their way to the United States’ southern border.
“President Biden and his Administration have issued a series of executive orders, memoranda, and other policies that eroded deterrence and undermined border security,” pointed out in their letter to FEMA Administrator Deanne Criswell. “These disastrous policies have led to unprecedented encounters of illegal border crossers at the southwest border and subsequent releases from custody in many cases. Taxpayer funded NGOs then facilitate illegal border crossers’ release and onward travel throughout the country.”
The Congressman noted that this illegal effort has used taxpayer dollars to directly harm American citizens.
“These releases have overwhelmed American communities from Yuma and El Paso to Martha’s Vineyard and New York City,” they added.
Joe Biden has one job as President of the United States: to enforce the laws passed by Congress while adhering to the budget provided.
Unfortunately, it appears that is the last thing he—or his leftist handlers—have any interest in attempting.
