The Democrat Party seems to be a rudderless ship lost at sea these days.

All they seem to be capable of is making total fools out of themselves as they continue to rail against Donald Trump’s efforts to finally clean up Washington, D.C.

And now Democrats could only hang their heads in shame after Chuck Schumer stepped in it with this tone-deaf move.

Chuck Schumer stepped in it trying to smear DOGE’s work

Democrats are seemingly under the impression that when the majority of Americans elected President Donald Trump, and a Republican-led House and Senate, this past November, what voters were really saying is that they wanted to protect the status quo in Washington, D.C. at all costs.

They truly believe with every fiber of their beings that with working-class Americans still struggling under the years-long, Biden-caused cost of living crisis, the federal government more than $36 TRILLION in debt, and billions of waste, fraud, and abuse being uncovered by Elon Musk’s Department of Government Efficiency literally every single day, their best course of action is to protect their taxpayer-funded gravy train at all costs.

As such, they are doing everything in their power to stop the Trump administration, particularly Musk, and DOGE, from fixing the biggest driver of all those issues – out-of-control government spending.

The only problem is, that Democrats are so out of touch with the American people – and reality itself – they continue to make total fools out of themselves.

Case in point, Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer recently began pushing an online portal in which so-called “whistleblowers” within the out-of-control federal bureaucracy could report supposedly “lawless” actions taken by DOGE, thereby allowing Democrat Attorneys General to more easily include them in the meritless lawsuits they continue to file nationwide against the Trump administration.

“Today, I’m calling on our brave public servants,” Schumer wrote on X. “I’m launching a new portal for anyone who wants to expose corruption, abuses of power, and threats to public safety with the legal protections of being a whistleblower.”

But being the out-of-touch Democrat he is, Schumer never considered the possibility that the overwhelming majority of Americans who oppose Democrats’ efforts to protect the corrupt status quo would turn the tables on them.

“Great! I wanna report: Joe Biden. Kamala Harris. Chuck Schumer,” Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) replied. “And the entire corrupt Democrat party that weaponized & abused the federal government for the past four years.”

Judicial Network President Carrie Severino responded to Schumer’s effort by pointing out the comments he made outside the Supreme Court in March 2020 as the Justices prepared to hear an abortion case.

“I want to tell you, Gorsuch. I want to tell you, Kavanaugh,” Schumer ranted at the time. “You have released the whirlwind and you will pay the price! You won’t know what hit you if you go forward with these awful decisions.”

Of course, after the Supreme Court ultimately overturned Roe v. Wade, police officers arrested a deranged Democrat activist outside Justice Kavanaugh’s Maryland home as he was attempting to assassinate the Constitutionalist Justice.

Severino went on to note that the violent rhetoric utilized by Schumer and his fellow Democrats put the lives of the Supreme Court Justices, and their families, in harm’s way.

 “‘Threats to public safety . . .’” Severino wrote. “This is rich coming from Senator Schumer, who stood on the steps of the Supreme Court and threatened Justices Neil Gorsuch and Brett Kavanaugh, saying they would ‘pay the price’ for exercising judicial review.”

Schumer’s tone-deaf response to President Trump doing exactly what the American people elected him to do has even elicited the scorn of Democrats’ left-wing allies.

No matter how you slice it, Democrats are crumbling.

And it couldn’t have come at a better time.
