Democrats are champing at the bit to overturn Donald Trump’s America First agenda and erase the legacy he left as President.
In fact, Democrat leaders have already released a long list of left-wing actions they’re demanding Joe Biden take on “day one” in office – including executive actions on immigration and trade issues.
But Democrats may be infuriated with Joe Biden after he conceded to President Trump on this critical issue.
President Trump’s Migrant Protection Protocol ended the “catch and release” program that forced law-enforcement officers to turn illegal alien criminals loose on the streets while they waited on their asylum hearing to take place, a move that helped keep asylum seekers out of our country and in Mexico.
During the Presidential campaign, Joe Biden vowed to eliminate these “Migrant Protection Protocols” via Executive Order on “day one” in office.
But apparently Joe Biden recently had a change of heart, and on Tuesday he reversed his plans and conceded to President Trump on this critical issue.
“The timeline is to do it so that we, in fact, make it better not worse,” said Joe Biden about his original vow to overturn Trump’s Migrant Protection Protocols on “day one.”
“I will do what I said. It’s going to take — not Day 1 — it’s going to take probably the next six months to put that in place,” concluded Biden.
Of course, the radical Left, who put their differences aside with Joe Biden during the election, are infuriated with Joe Biden for conceding to President Trump on the issue.
Socialist Democrat Ilhan Omar attacked Biden, saying “This is a classic bait and switch.”
“It perpetuates Trump’s dehumanization of migrants and breaks a core campaign promise. Democrats lose big when administrations won’t fulfill their promise,” declared Omar.
“I urge the Biden transition team to reconsider this position,” she concluded.
Omar’s outrage proves how important the issue of amnesty is for Democrats and the radical Left.
To radicals like Ilhan Omar, 20+ illegal aliens aren’t a dangerous threat to the American people and our economy.
Instead, she sees them as 20+ million new Democrat votes, cementing the Left permanently in power in Washington, D.C.
