The so-called ladies of The View have barely been able to contain their rage since Donald Trump took office.
And one move by President Trump sent them clear over the edge.
But Donald Trump could only laugh after The View’s Sunny Hostin called him one ridiculous name.
Trump declares war on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion
Former President Joe Biden injected diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) into every aspect of the federal government.
And many times, he did so at the expense of the American taxpayer and public safety.
Biden even issued an executive order to strengthen DEI policies in the federal workforce.
When President Donald Trump took office on January 20, he immediately began taking a sledgehammer to DEI in the federal government.
Trump issued an executive order on his very first day that directed the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) to notify federal agencies and departments to shut down their DEI offices and put their workers on paid leave.
Democrats and their media allies fumed at Trump for dismantling the massive DEI bureaucracy in the government.
The co-hosts on ABC’s The View actually blew a gasket over Trump’s executive order and tried to argue that he was promoting racism.
Co-host Ana Navarro claimed, without any evidence at all, that Trump was empowering every bad person under the sun.
“I think by getting rid of this and doing it in such a bold way on day one, what he is doing is giving a green light to people who are racist, to people who are homophobic,” Navarro ranted. “To people who are anti-women and think they should be in the kitchen and telling them there is no consequence to your racism.”
Ending DEI is the “return of segregation”
Co-host Sunny Hostin has completely lost her mind since the election and become the biggest Trump hater on the show.
She compared Trump’s eliminating DEI to when President Woodrow Wilson resegregated the federal government in 1916.
Hostin claimed Wilson’s decision led to a “plunge in income for not only Black workers but also for women.”
“I think it’s a war on people of color, and what we are going to see is a lot of pain, but especially to those communities that need those jobs,” Hostin raged.
Suggesting that minority communities must rely on government jobs is the bigotry of low expectations that Democrats are always spouting.
Co-host Sara Haines proved to be a voice of reason by arguing that DEI wastes money and creates needless bureaucracy.
She wondered why Hostin was so upset over the closure of DEI offices.
Hostin fumed that preferential treatment for minorities in being awarded government contracts was being done away with.
Navarro also claimed that Trump was purging the federal government of supporters of former President Joe Biden.
“They are finding out, you know, who might be doing – I mean, they’ve been asking people in the different federal departments to basically snitch on each other. You know, who is a liberal? Who is a Biden supporter? Who is into equity? And they have been purging those people, which they told us they were going to do,” Navarro raved.
Hostin then tried to insult Trump by calling him a “DEI hire.”
Of course, like just about every ridiculous statement she makes, Hostin’s attack on Trump fell completely flat.
