From the Democrats to the Fake News Media to the Big Tech Giants and the Corporate elites, Donald Trump is facing fire from every angle.
Even some of Trump’s closest allies have turned on him in recent months.
And now Donald Trump is facing a new investigation launched by a top Republican official in Georgia.
Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger has been one of Donald Trump’s biggest enemies in the Republican Party over the past few months.
It all started when Raffensperger recorded a phone call he had with Donald Trump where Trump asked him to do his job and count all the legal votes in Georgia.
Of course, the media ran with Raffensperger’s call, using it to falsely accuse Donald Trump of trying to steal the 2020 election.
But on Monday Raffensperger confirmed that his office had opened up an investigation into the legality of Trump’s phone call.
The New York Times reports:
The office of Georgia’s secretary of state, Brad Raffensperger, on Monday started an investigation into former President Donald J. Trump’s attempts to overturn the state’s election results, including a phone call he made to Mr. Raffensperger in which Mr. Trump pressured him to “find” enough votes to reverse his loss.
The move comes as Fani Willis, the Democratic district attorney of Fulton County, which encompasses much of Atlanta, is weighing whether to begin a criminal inquiry of her own.
Raffensperger leaked his phone call with Donald Trump just two days before the critical Georgia Senate runoff elections.
According to several political experts and pundits, Raffensperger’s leaked call caused a backlash that led to the Democrats winning both races and seizing total control of the U.S. Senate.
And now Raffensperger is continuing to play into the Left’s hands by opening up an investigation into the phone call he had with Donald Trump.
