None may be bigger than this one.
And now Donald Trump is giddy after his attorney exposed the “coordinated effort” Joe Biden wanted to keep secret.
During a recent appearance on Newsmax, former President Donald Trump’s attorney, Alina Habba, took Manhattan Democrat District Attorney Alvin Bragg to task, accusing him of coordinating directly with the Biden Department of Justice on his witch hunt against Trump.
Hadda told Newsmax’ Rob Schmitt that Biden Attorney General Merrick Garland is “the puppeteer, effectively, and so is the current President, or resident, as I call him, in the White House.”
“Truly, there is obviously a coordinated effort,” Habba declared. “There’s no question about that.”
Of course, while Democrats and their media allies dismiss such allegations out of hand, it’s difficult to draw another conclusion when the facts are laid out.
For example, Bragg’s predecessor, former Manhattan Democrat District Attorney Mark Pomerantz, refused to pursue criminal charges against Trump in the case, calling it a “zombie case” that was only allowed to remain alive because Democrat prosecutors had no other recourse for charging Trump.
Furthermore, while most everyone else who has ever been accused of the exact same offense as Trump faced little more than misdemeanor charges – misdemeanors which coincidentally have a two-year statute of limitations, which has long since passed – Bragg chose to charge Trump with 34 felony counts by claiming he’d falsified business records to cover up a completely separate crime for which the former President hasn’t even been charged.
And to make matters worse, Bragg not only claims that Trump doesn’t even have to be charged with the supposed separate crime to elevate his charges from a simple misdemeanor to 34 felonies, but that the Democrat District Attorney doesn’t even have to name what the crime is.
That’s right, Bragg and his fellow Democrats want a jury – not to mention the American people – to believe that their 34 charges against Trump are totally legitimate, even though the key separate crime he was supposed to have committed to warrant such charges doesn’t even exist.
As Habba went on to explain to Newsmax, the series of events that has led to Trump’s now-ongoing trial in the case paint a picture of a deranged Democrat District Attorney who was simply looking for any reason he could possibly find to indict Trump and possibly land him in prison.
“Back in the day, this case was looked at, it was investigated, charges were not brought,” Habba explained. “Indictments were not made because they knew the case was not real. Then [Trump] ran for office. They bring the charges. If you look at that timeline alone, I wanna know how they’re gonna wipe this story away because it speaks volumes. You didn’t bring the charges. You said there was no story.”
“And then he runs for office, and they bring an indictment on this case,” she added. “And that case that’s going forward in April is another disgrace and shows the demise of the state of New York, which I used to love.”
Just to drive the point home that Bragg is merely acting as a Biden regime puppet, Habba also noted that the Democrat prosecutor just happened to hire former Biden Justice Department official Matt Colangelo away from the regime shortly before bringing his witch hunt against Trump.
“It’s disgusting,” Habba declared. “Just look at the White House log. If anybody wants to tell me something’s not coordinated, explain to me why a state official, who is supposed to be elected by their state and work for their state constituents, is now working with the White House administration.”
“It makes no sense,” she concluded.
