Donald Trump just dropped a bombshell message that will have every lawbreaking politician shaking in their boots

President Trump delivers a fiery response to a reporter questioning Rep. McIver's arrest, declaring "The days of that crap are over" after the Democrat was caught on video physically confronting ICE agents.

President Donald Trump put lawmakers on notice about a new era in Washington.

That has many Democrats worried about their future.

And Donald Trump just dropped a bombshell message that will have every lawbreaking politician shaking in their boots.

Trump unleashes on reporter during Capitol Hill availability

President Donald Trump was on Capitol Hill Tuesday meeting with lawmakers when reporters began asking him questions about various current events.

A reporter questioned him about the recent arrest of Democratic Rep. LaMonica McIver from New Jersey.

McIver was indicted on federal charges after an incident where she physically confronted Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents outside a secure facility in Newark.

Video footage that has circulated on social media shows McIver shoving and swinging at ICE officers during an unauthorized attempt to gain access to the federal building.

The reporter suggested the Department of Justice had been “weaponized” against a sitting congresswoman, implying the prosecution was politically motivated.

Trump immediately fired back with a blistering response.

“Give me a break. Did you see her? She was out of control. Those days are over. The days of woke are over. That woman — I have no idea who she is — that woman was out of control,” Trump shot back.

Trump was visibly angered by the suggestion that holding a lawmaker accountable for allegedly assaulting federal officers constituted “weaponization” of the DOJ.

“The days of that crap are over in this country. We’re gonna have law and order,” Trump concluded firmly.

McIver faces serious charges after altercation with ICE agents

Rep. McIver has been charged with multiple counts, including assaulting federal officers and obstruction of an official proceeding.

The incident occurred when McIver and several other Democratic lawmakers attempted to gain unauthorized access to an ICE detention facility.

When denied entry by agents, McIver allegedly became confrontational and physical, with video showing her pushing officers and attempting to swing at one agent who blocked her path.

The Department of Justice moved forward with the charges after reviewing the video evidence and interviewing witnesses present at the scene.

Some Democrats and media figures have criticized the charges, suggesting they represent a politically motivated prosecution by the Trump administration.

However, legal experts point out that assaulting federal officers has always been a serious offense, regardless of the perpetrator’s position.

Former federal prosecutor Andrew McCarthy noted on Fox News that “members of Congress don’t have special immunity when it comes to physically attacking law enforcement officers.”

Trump administration taking hard line on law and order issues

Trump’s comments reflect his administration’s renewed emphasis on supporting law enforcement and holding accountable those who break the law, regardless of political affiliation.

During his campaign, Trump promised to restore respect for law enforcement after what he described as years of undermining police authority.

In his exchange with reporters, Trump’s firm stance on “law and order” aligns with his campaign promises. The President’s frustration was evident as he pointed to the video evidence of the confrontation between Rep. McIver and the ICE agents.

The forceful response from Trump signals his administration’s approach to incidents involving law enforcement, particularly ICE agents who have been at the center of his immigration enforcement policies.

While some media outlets have questioned whether the charges against McIver represent a political targeting of Democrats, the White House has maintained that the case is based solely on the congresswoman’s actions during the confrontation.

House Speaker Mike Johnson was asked about the situation later in the day. While not directly commenting on Trump’s remarks, Johnson told reporters that Congress expects all members to uphold the law.

The case against Rep. McIver is expected to proceed in the coming weeks, with the congresswoman maintaining her innocence through her attorney.
