Mitch McConnell spent 2022 bending over backwards to hand Joe Biden and Democrats some of the biggest items on their socialist wishlist.
His efforts even helped Democrats expand their Senate majority despite the fact that their schemes have resulted in untold suffering for the working class.
And now Donald Trump just dropped a bombshell revelation about Mitch McConnell that sent Washington, D.C. into chaos.
In 2022, Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConell (R-KY) proved beyond a shadow of a doubt that he and the rest of the GOP establishment would much rather control the minority in Washington, D.C. than for Republicans to have the majority and the establishment to have less control.
While Republicans nationwide were fighting for the majority in the 2022 Midterms, Senator McConnell chose to cave to President Joe Biden and Democrats on a number of key issues, including helping the Left pass the largest gun control scheme in decades, spend trillions of tax dollars on left-wing special interests, and fork out corporate welfare to companies many Members of Congress just happened to be invested in.
McConnell then followed all that up by choosing to wave the white flag on the Midterms – even though every poll still showed voters trusted Republicans to handle the nation’s issues more than Democrats – by pulling millions worth of ad dollars from crucial U.S. Senate races, like Blake Masters’ race in Arizona.
And to top it all off, he and his lackeys helped Democrats force their $1.7 trillion omnibus spending bill into law just before Christmas, once again showering left-wing special interests and foreign countries with billions of Americans’ tax dollars while the U.S. crumbles.
All of Senator McConnell’s antics led former President Donald Trump to call out the Kentucky RINO for stabbing working class Americans in the back yet again.
Trump first took aim at McConnell’s influential vote to pass Democrats’ omnibus spending bill, which somehow spends tens of billions of dollars on border security for foreign nations, but explicitly prohibits any American tax dollars from securing America’s borders.
Of course, it wouldn’t be an authentic attack from Donald Trump on the establishment if he didn’t also rip the funding FBI, which he insists “rigged” the 2020 election.
But while all of those attacks were expected, it’s what Trump said about why Mitch McConnelll may have once again bent the knee to Democrats that has Washington, D.C. in chaos.
“The Marxist Democrats must have something really big on Mitch McConnell in order to get him and some of his friendly ‘Republican’ Senators to pass the horrendous ‘All Democrat, All the Way’ OMINOUS Bill,” Trump wrote on Truth Social. “It gives Border Security to other countries, but ZERO $’s to the U.S., it fully funds the corrupt ‘Justice’ Department, FBI (which RIGGED the Presidential Election!), and even the Trump Hating Special ‘Prosecutor.’ It is also a massive giveaway & capitulation to CHINA, making COCO CHOW so happy!”
The former President went on to point out that had Senator McConnell waited just 10 days, the new Republican Majority would have been sworn-in, giving the GOP more leverage to negotiate a substantially better deal with Democrats than they just produced.
“If the Old Crow waited just 10 days, the Republican Majority in the House could have made the ‘Ominous’ Bill MUCH, MUCH, MUCH BETTER,” Trump noted. “Just another win for the Democrats, Mitch, that wouldn’t have happened if ‘Trump’ were President!”
Mitch McConnell and the rest of the Republican establishment completely tipped their hand in 2022.
There was no real effort whatsoever to actually win back the Senate majority, and McConnell went out of his way to make Republicans’ Midterm path to victory even more difficult by continuously caving on incredibly unpopular left-wing schemes.
Ultimately, Senator McConnell and the rest of the GOP establishment have finally ended the charade that the real fight in Washington, D.C. is Republican vs. Democrat, and no longer try to hide that it’s really the ruling class vs. the working class.
And Mitch McConnell, Joe Biden, Chuck Schumer, and the rest of the ruling class are ready to pick up where they left off in the New Year.
