Donald Trump has effectively locked in the GOP nomination, which means the search for his ticket companion is about to intensify.

And Donald Trump just dropped a massive bombshell regarding his Vice Presidential search.

During a recent interview on Newsmax, former President Trump shared that he had already crossed off multiple names from his list of potential candidates for Vice President.

In this interview, Trump told Greg Kelly that he believed that these were people who did not “behave properly.”

“Yeah, I probably have a couple of people that you may know very well. Some people that I didn’t think behaved properly. Yeah, I think I’ve ruled some people out, but I’ve ruled a lot of people in,” stated Trump.

“We have a lot of great people in the Republican Party, and they’ll do a terrific job, I think, but certainly I have people that I wouldn’t want as a Vice President.”

Many experts believe that Trump was singling out the RINO former governor of South Carolina, Nikki Haley.

This comes after Nikki Haley began sharing, and even at times amplifying, some of the most wild radical Left attacks on Donald Trump.

These attacks included allusions to Russia, and defending the political weaponization of the justice system to target Trump.

Making things worse for the RINO former governor was her refusal to endorse Trump after the colossal defeat on Super Tuesday forced her to drop out of the race.

Trump seems to know that everyone is tripping over each other, hoping to be the one to lock in the VP slot on the ticket.

“We’ve had some really great people. I think we have really great people that want it. People have expressed, I mean not their interest, they’ve expressed like, ‘I would love to be Vice President.’ Who wouldn’t? If you’re a politician, who wouldn’t want it?” Trump explained.

“But you know, I get a kick out of watching the fake news media say, ‘Nobody wants to work with him. Nobody wants to be Vice President. Nobody wants to be Secretary of State.’ Everybody wants to be in these positions.”

During the same interview, Trump explained that he didn’t feel like his hand was being forced by the mainstream media and establishment elitists to pick someone that they liked.

Trump feels that he has complete freedom to pick someone that he believes to be a winner, which opens the door to less conventional candidates such as Fox News contributor and former Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard.

Trump argued, “really, if you want to stay within a certain boundary, the press covers the people that are being thought about. It’s unusual that you’d pick somebody totally out of that, and there are 15 people they talk about, and that list grows every day.”

“But we’re gonna pick somebody that’s really good, really conservative, loves law and order, low taxes, low-interest rates, borders,” concluded the former President

Recent polling data has likely given Trump a boost in confidence for his list of potential ticket companion picks.

States like Pennsylvania and Nevada have already indicated that Trump holds a deafening lead over Joe Biden.

With the odds of a Trump victory in November being better than Joe Biden’s, it is clear why the Vice Presidential slot on the ballot is so valuable.

The fact is, if Trump finds success on election day, term limits would prevent him from running again in 2028.

Because of that, whoever is selected as his Vice President this year will likely end up running in 2028 as an incumbent, representing Trump’s philosophy in the primary.

As one might imagine, every politician fantasizes about sitting inside of the Oval Office, and running as Trump’s Vice President makes it significantly more likely to happen.
