With Joe Biden’s declining mental capacities, White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki serves as the mouthpiece for the administration.
She does her best to protect Joe Biden.
But Donald Trump set a trap. And Jen Psaki walked Joe Biden right into it.
Twitter, Google, and Facebook had to know a lawsuit was coming when they banned Donald Trump from their platforms.
Trump is currently suing the Tech trio for violating his First Amendment rights.
In his lawsuit, Trump argues that since the social media giants work alongside the government to censor conservatives for ideological reasons, that makes them fall under the realm of being state actors.
Of course, the corporate-controlled lawyers on TV mocked Donald Trump’s lawsuit against Big Tech.
But according to talk show host and legal scholar Mark Levin, Jen Psaki of all people may have just proven Donald Trump right.
On Thursday, after Psaki announced a new Biden initiative to pressure Facebook to censor so-called “misinformation” about the COVID vaccine, Mark Levin declared that “Jen Psaki just made the case for the Trump lawsuit.”
Levin is referring to a White House press briefing where Psaki stated:
“Well, first, we are in regular touch with these social media platforms, and those engagements typically happen through members of our senior staff, but also members of our COVID-19 team, given, as Dr. Murthy conveyed, this is a big issue of misinformation, specifically on the pandemic.
“In terms of actions, Alex, that we have taken — or we’re working to take, I should say — from the federal government: We’ve increased disinformation research and tracking within the Surgeon General’s office. We’re flagging problematic posts for Facebook that spread disinformation. We’re working with doctors and medical professionals to connect — to connect medical experts with popular — with popular — who are popular with their audiences — with accurate information and boost trusted content. So we’re helping get trusted content out there.”
If Facebook goes along with Biden and censors posts that his administration flags, then they are now a state actor and the Constitution applies to their actions, meaning Facebook doesn’t have the right to infringe upon the First Amendment.
And since censoring speech online is the new driving force of the American far Left, this could end up having major implications for Big Tech in the near future.
