Compared to Joe Biden’s constant bungling, Donald Trump was a diplomatic genius.
Now Trump, who convinced more than one global leader to cool their heads during his tenure, has a warning.
He says as Russia bombs Ukraine, one more war is about to break out on Biden’s watch.
During an episode of the Clay Travis and Buck Sexton show Trump addressed the absolute disaster that’s developed internationally with Eastern Europe at war and instability in Asia.
“Well, what went wrong was a rigged election.” Trump said referring to how Joe Biden ended up in the middle of trying—and failing—at playing referee in the first place. “And what went wrong is a candidate that shouldn’t be there and a man that has no concept of what he’s doing.”
Trump said he knows Putin well and got along with Russia’s big boss even though he’s a “tough cookie.”
But Trump says without strong international leadership to hold him in check, this became an irresistible opportunity.
“I knew that he always wanted Ukraine. I used to talk to him about it. I said, ‘You can’t do it. You’re not gonna do it.’ But I could see that he wanted it. I used to ask him. We used to talk about it at length. I think nobody probably knows him better in terms of the discussions that we have or that we’re having this morning. So, I knew him very well. I got to know him,” Trump said. “I got to know President Xi. By the way, China is gonna be next.”
Trump says that while neither man would be willing to cross him, Joe Biden’s failure to respond in any meaningful way is emboldening the powerful dictators to go after exactly what they want.
“Now the Olympics ended, and look at your stopwatch, right?” Trump said, comparing Putin’s desire to control Ukraine with Xi’s desire to control Taiwan. “It’s almost like twin sisters right here because you have one that wants Taiwan, I think, equally badly. Somebody said, ‘Who wants it more?’ I think probably equally badly.”
Americans who have been struggling to deal with the effects of skyrocketing inflation and supply chain issues are already feeling the impacts of Putin’s attack as fuel prices push up.
Oil prices have already exceeded well over $100 per barrel and experts say the conflict between Russia and Ukraine could push prices up to $7 per gallon at the pump.
If Xi takes over Taiwan he will control much of the world’s computer chip supply which will impact the availability of everything from smart phones and tablets to cars and appliances.
Alarmingly, Trump was right about Russia and even warned NATO about how it was funding his rise.
Now with Biden’s insane energy policies making Americans more reliant on foreign energy supplies he’s only driving more dollars toward the likes of Putin.
And if Trump is right about Taiwan—and there’s plenty of evidence he probably is—having Joe Biden pushed into office may turn out to be the single most financially devastating thing that has ever happened to the American people.
