President-elect Donald Trump plans to give the FBI its biggest overhaul in decades.
The Left and their Democrat politicians are digging in their heels to try and stop Trump.
But Donald Trump was jumping for joy after this news about the FBI was released.
Democrats hoping RINOs will help them stop Donald Trump’s FBI nominee
President-elect Donald Trump’s first election victory in 2016 exposed some of the deep-rooted problems in the FBI.
The FBI actively pushed the thoroughly discredited Russian collusion hoax against him and worked to censor information on the internet like Hunter Biden’s laptop from hell during the 2020 Election.
Barack Obama and Joe Biden both weaponized the FBI against their political opponents.
Traditional Catholics, parents protesting Marxist indoctrination at school board meetings, and grandmas who peacefully protested on January 6 were in the crosshairs of Biden’s FBI.
But after his resounding victory this year, Donald Trump has sent a clear message that he is serious about reforming the FBI.
Trump announced the nomination of former acting Director of National Intelligence Kash Patel to serve as the FBI’s new director.
Democrats, and Deep State operatives in the DOJ, are terrified of serious reforms coming to the FBI.
So they’re trying to sink Patel’s nomination by creating a backlash against him using a smear campaign claiming he’s an unqualified hack.
Democrats might have hoped they could spark a public backlash against his nomination, but CNN revealed the reputation of the FBI has almost completely crumbled.
Public opinion of the FBI has collapsed after its weaponization against Donald Trump
CNN senior data reporter Harry Enten was shocked at the collapse in the public’s support for the FBI during a segment on CNN News Central.
“I think Patel has real reason to believe that Americans would go along with changes he might potentially make at the FBI, and there’s a reason why Donald Trump feels like he can make this change,” Enten said.
A Gallup poll found that the FBI’s public approval rating is at its lowest point in decades.
In 2014, 59% of Americans thought that the FBI was doing an “excellent or good job.”
That number plummeted to just 41% this year.
Support for the FBI has undergone a steady collapse since Trump was first elected.
“Look at where we are today. My goodness gracious. Just 41% of Americans think the ‘FBI is doing an excellent or good job.’ That is by far the lowest number this century,” Enten explained. “The bottom line is, during the Trump administration, obviously there were the investigations into Donald Trump, you saw a little bit of drop then and then post January 6th. Look at that drop, 50% now 41%. My goodness gracious.”
Enten highlighted the staggering decrease in support for the FBI by Republicans since 2014.
“Among Republicans, is the FBI ‘doing an excellent or good job’ — this is where you really see the drop off. You go back to 2014 … It was 62%. 2019, look at that, 46%. 2022, 29%. Now we’re tied for the lowest point this century among Republicans at 26%,” Enten said. “That is a drop of more than half since 2014.”
But even Democrat support for the FBI has dropped.
Kash Patel clearly has public opinion on his side as he tries to come and clean up the corruption at the FBI.
And he will be successful unless RINOs in the U.S. Senate manage to derail the process.
