Donald Trump’s huge red tidal wave just caused the owner of the “LA Times” to make one shocking decision

For Republicans and Trump supporters, one of the best aspects of this year’s election was how decisive a victory it was.

And that such a clear victory has already had major implications in the mainstream media and in political circles.

Now Donald Trump’s huge red tidal wave just caused the owner of the LA Times to make one shocking decision.

Our new era of increased political polarization has made it more difficult for election winners to claim a clear mandate.

George W. Bush was declared the winner of the presidential election in 2000 only after a month of legal wrangling and a favorable Supreme Court decision.

He also lost the popular vote, and even though that doesn’t really matter in actually determining the victor, it gave his opponents plenty of rhetorical ammunition.

A similar situation occurred in 2016 when Donald Trump was first elected president after defeating Hillary Clinton in a shocking upset.

The razor thin margin of victory in 2016 allowed the Democrats and their media mouthpieces to chalk Trump’s victory up to a fluke, or racism, or interference from the Kremlin, even though all those allegations were bogus.

While some Democrat partisans will no doubt still use similar arguments to attempt to diminish Trump’s most recent win, that dog won’t hunt.

Not only did Trump win the national popular vote, he won more electoral votes than any Republican since 1988 and essentially split the Hispanic vote with Harris.

He also increased his share of the vote among young voters, Asians, and African Americans.

And according to exit polls, Harris did worse among women than Biden did four years ago.

Unlike in other recent elections, the decision that American voters made this year is abundantly clear.

That’s become a problem for corporate media outlets who have brazenly been at odds with the public for a long time and continue to lose credibility as they shill for leftists.

But at least one of these outlets now sees the writing on the wall and has decided to act accordingly.

The LA Times has been particularly egregious in its radical leanings.

In recent years, the editorial board has mocked the deaths of unvaccinated people from Covid, called Larry Elder the “black face of white supremacy,” and repeatedly endorsed far-left District Attorney George Gascon who was so unpopular that he was just defeated in a landslide.

But now their tune may be changing.

LA Times owner: “When the President has won the vote of the majority of Americans then ALL voices must be heard. Opinions are just that.”

Now, the paper’s owner has announced he is going to replace the entire editorial board.

Proud that we posted this letter from one of our readers on X. When the President has won the vote of the majority of Americans then ALL voices must be heard. Opinions are just that. I will work towards making our paper and media fair and balanced so that all voices are heard…

He also wrote, “I will work towards making our paper and media fair and balanced so that all voices are heard and we can respectfully exchange every American’s view ..from left to right to the center. Coming soon. A new Editorial Board. Trust in media is critical for a strong democracy.”

While cynics would point out that this was simply a necessary business decision as the paper continues to hemorrhage subscribers, it is nonetheless a welcome development.

It’s more proof that another major story of this year’s election results is that the media landscape has been forever altered.

Americans are getting their news in new ways, independent of traditional media gatekeepers, who now must adapt or face extinction.

As readership and viewership for the mainstream media outlets continues to fall, you just may see more of this.
