It’s taken a few weeks but Democrats have finally started their “resistance” to Donald Trump’s incoming administration in earnest.
But in doing so they seem to be shooting themselves in the foot.
And now Donald Trump’s jaw hit the floor when he saw how these Democrats are self-sabotaging in protest of him.
Los Angeles goes all-in on insanity
Back in 2017, not long after President-elect Donald Trump took office for the first time, the Democrat-controlled state of California designated itself a “sanctuary state” for illegal aliens.
But apparently, that wasn’t good enough for Democrats in Los Angeles.
Now, the rundown, homeless-infested “City of Angels” has formally adopted a “sanctuary city” ordinance, ensuring that illegal aliens – even hardened criminals – are given safe harbor within its jurisdiction.
In a unanimous 13-0 vote, the Democrat-controlled LA City Council declared that no city personnel or resources can be used to help enforce federal immigration laws.
Under the law – which was drafted by Democrat Mayor Karen Bass and City Attorney Hydee Feldstein Soto – law enforcement are completely barred from investigating, detaining, reporting, or arresting anyone with an immigration violation.
Despite the fact that the city is experiencing a massive housing crisis and has an out-of-control homelessness problem, Democrats in the city determined that their top priority should be protecting illegal aliens – again, even those who commit heinous crimes – from what they call the “unimaginable cruelty” of Trump’s mass deportation efforts.
Mainly, they apparently seem worried that illegal alien families will be separated if Trump follows through on his border security agenda.
But as Trump’s Border Czar nominee, Tom Homan, previously pointed out, the best way to ensure that illegal alien families aren’t separated is to simply deport them all together at once.

Whatever it takes
Prior to LA’s new “sanctuary city” ordinance, the Los Angeles Police Department was already refusing to ask any criminals about their immigration status, or arrest individuals known to be illegal aliens, even if they were criminals.
With the new ordinance now in place, newly appointed LAPD Chief Jim McDonnell has declared that his department will not take part in any immigration enforcement efforts.
Fortunately though, Homan has already addressed the issue of Democrat-controlled “sanctuary cities” protecting criminal illegal aliens from the Trump administration’s efforts.
In a recent interview with Newsmax, Homan declared that it didn’t matter if “sanctuary cities” cooperate or not, he’d simply send twice as many resources to get the job done.
“I’ll tell you this, they don’t have to help us,” Homan declared. “But they need to get the hell out of the way because we’re coming and we’re going to do it. Which means, If I’ve got to send twice as many resources to sanctuary cities – twice as many agents – that’s exactly what I’m going to do.”
Tom Homan says if sanctuary cities try to impede his mass deportations then he’ll send twice as many men.
He hopes to receive cooperation but he’ll get the job done with or without it.
