Viewers flocked to Tucker Carlson when they discovered he wouldn’t back down from saying what needed to be said.
Carlson shocked many as the top-rated host on Fox News recently.
And Donald Trump’s words of sympathy aren’t enough for Tucker Carlson.
Jaws dropped when Tucker Carlson took Donald Trump to task during an interview about January 6 protestors.
American Greatness’ Julie Kelly and Tucker Carlson are the two biggest media voices willing to counter the left-wing narrative that white supremacist Trump supporters staged an insurrection on January 6.
As both Carlson and Kelly pointed out, the narrative doesn’t make sense given that none of the 670 people arrested were charged with insurrection or sedition.
Kelly discussed the inhumane treatment of Trump supporters being detained indefinitely in Washington, D.C., telling Carlson that they were being denied proper exercise, food, and communication with the outside world.
Carlson asked Kelly if Trump, or anyone associated with his 2020 campaign, had sent money to help those arrested on January 6 pay for their legal expenses or to help their families while they are being indefinitely detained.
“People are going to be offended that I ask this, but I can’t control myself. What about the President on whose behalf they were gathered that day? Has anybody sent them money? The people around him, Brad Parscale, all these people are getting rich, right? Complaining that the last election was rigged, which it clearly was, obviously. And they’re making all this money and all these people are sending all this money down to Florida. But is any of that money going to defend these people who went to this rally on behalf of that candidate?” Carlson asked Kelly.
According to Kelly, Trump offered words of sympathy for those being treated unfairly and also raised awareness of the murder of Ashli Babbitt on January 6.
But he hasn’t offered financial support.
“I just find that appalling,” Carlson exclaimed. “I really do. I really find that appalling.”
Carlson was upset that none of the folks who made big bucks working for Trump’s campaign have tried to help the people arrested at a protest over the election they believed was stolen from Trump.
