Dr. Anthony Fauci thinks he is “the science.”
Now that arrogant windbag just met his match.
And he’s definitely going to blow up when he reads Senator Roger Marshall’s new law.
You’re going to love the name of Marshall’s new bill as much as Fauci will hate it.
It’s called the Financial Accountability for Uniquely Compensated Individuals (FAUCI) Act.
If it passes it will mandate that the Office of Government Ethics provide a list of all confidential filers within the government whose financial disclosures are not public.
“Just like he (Dr. Anthony Fauci) has misled the American people about sending taxpayers dollars to Wuhan, China to fund gain-of-function research, about masks, testing, and more, Dr. Fauci was completely dishonest about his financial disclosures being open to the public – it’s no wonder he is the least trusted bureaucrat in America,” Marshall wrote in statement. “At the end of the day, Dr. Fauci must be held accountable to all Americans who have been suing and requesting for this information but don’t have the power of a Senate office to ask for it. For these reasons, I will be introducing the FAUCI Act so financial disclosures like these are made public and are easily accessible online to every American.”
This comes after Fauci was caught on a hot microphone saying, “What a moron.”
That came after Marshall asked Fauci about financial disclosures and his investments during a Senate hearing.
He also grilled Fauci, who is the highest paid employee in the entire federal government, about dismal approval ratings and funding gain-of-function research at the Wuhan Institute of Virology.
In spite of being caught lying numerous times, Fauci is consistently flippant and dismissive of his critics, Marshall pointed out.
“Dr. Fauci lied to the American people,” Marshall said. “He is more concerned with being a media star and posing for the cover of magazines than he is being honest with the American people and holding China accountable for the COVID pandemic that has taken the lives of almost 850 thousand Americans.”
Since the beginning of the Coronavirus pandemic, Dr. Fauci has sparred with other prominent Republican Members of Congress including Senators Rand Paul and Ted Cruz.
While Fauci has repeatedly denied that the pandemic was sparked by a lab leak from a research project that his department helped fund, there’s plenty of evidence the scientists involved in the Wuhan project have their own concerns about it.
The House Republican Oversight Committee recently released emails from February 2020 where one of the experts involved in coronavirus research in Wuhan said he, “just can’t figure out how this gets accomplished in nature” when asked about the structure of the Covid-19 virus.
When you look at all the evidence collected against him in the past year, it’s stunning that Fauci remains in power.
Marshall’s new legislation could at least help expose more bad actors within the federal government ranks.
It’s a long shot as to whether he can get it passed anytime soon, but there will likely be quite a bit of interest after the midterm elections if conservatives can manage to gain control of Congress.
