Eric Swalwell Got Caught Making One Jaw-Dropping Demand That Will Leave You Stunned

Eric Swalwell wants more the weaponization of justice and not just against Trump.

Eric Swalwell has reached a new low in his war against law and order.

His latest scheme crosses every line of decency.

And Eric Swalwell got caught making one jarring demand that will leave you shell-shocked.

Swalwell calls for criminal charges against federal agents

Representative Eric Swalwell (D-CA) made an earth-shattering announcement on MSNBC that should alarm every law-abiding American.

The California Democrat openly called for state prosecutors to bring criminal charges against federal law enforcement officers who arrested his fellow Democrats.

Speaking on MSNBC’s The Weekend with co-host Symone Sanders-Townsend, Swalwell suggested that state attorneys general should investigate what he referred to as "rogue agents" if their conduct meets applicable criminal statutes.

Sanders-Townsend opened the segment by questioning what she characterized as a lack of strong response from Democrat leadership in light of recent law enforcement actions involving members of their own party.

"My concern is, and I want to juxtapose with what happened to Senator Padilla, the handcuffing of him being thrown to the ground at a DHS presser by FBI agents after he was escorted into the room by FBI officials and the National Guard," she said.

She was referring to the incident where Senator Alex Padilla (D-CA) was forcibly removed and handcuffed after interrupting a press conference by Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem.

The dangerous precedent Swalwell wants to set

Swalwell’s response should send chills down the spine of anyone who believes in the rule of law.

"But I also see attorneys general across the country who have law enforcement powers. And the way I see it is, if I was a prosecutor, the top prosecutor in my state, and these rogue agents arrested somebody like Alex Padilla, who was just exercising his First Amendment right in his own office building and had him arrested, if I had a criminal statute that met the facts, I would use it," Swalwell stated.

The California congressman didn’t stop there.

"And that’s the same thing in New York. So if you have law enforcement capabilities and the facts meet those criminal statutes, you have to meet their chaos with your own strength. Otherwise, we’re always reacting to Donald Trump rather than the other way around," Swalwell continued.

What Swalwell is proposing is nothing short of a declaration of war against federal law enforcement.

He wants state prosecutors to weaponize their offices to go after FBI agents and other federal officers who are simply doing their jobs.

The real story behind the Padilla incident

Senator Alex Padilla was forcibly removed from a news conference Thursday morning with Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem when he became disruptive while formal remarks were being delivered.

"I am Sen. Alex Padilla. I have questions for the secretary," Padilla told Noem, which prompted several men dressed in plainclothes to push him out of the room.

The FBI issued a statement explaining that Padilla was briefly detained and released, noting that "Senator Padilla was not wearing his senate security pin; however, was subsequently positively identified and released".

A video shared by Padilla showed what happened next: Three agents pushed him to the ground and handcuffed his hands behind his back.

But here’s what Swalwell conveniently ignores: The FBI said in a statement that "the senator in question was not wearing a security pin and physically resisted law enforcement when confronted," adding that agents "acted completely appropriately".

Democrats facing consequences for their actions

Swalwell also referenced the case of Representative LaMonica McIver (D-NJ), who was recently indicted on federal charges.

McIver was indicted on three counts of "forcibly impeding and interfering with federal law enforcement officers" stemming from a confrontation with law enforcement at an Immigration and Customs Enforcement detention center in Newark last month.

The charges aren’t trivial either.

If convicted, the maximum penalty for the charges ranges from one to eight years, with McIver potentially facing up to 17 years in prison.

According to the federal indictment, McIver "slammed her forearm into the body of one law enforcement officer and also reached out and tried to restrain that officer by forcibly grabbing him. McIver also used each of her forearms to forcibly strike a second officer".

These aren’t cases of federal agents going rogue.

These are cases of Democrat politicians believing they’re above the law and facing consequences when they interfere with law enforcement operations.

Swalwell’s history of extreme rhetoric

This isn’t the first time Swalwell has made outrageous statements that should disqualify him from holding office.

During an anti-Trump protest last weekend, Swalwell compared Trump to Nazi leader Adolf Hitler, declaring "Donald Trump is America’s Hitler".

The same Eric Swalwell who had a relationship with a Chinese spy named Fang Fang is now calling for state prosecutors to go after federal law enforcement officers.

The same Eric Swalwell who pushed the Russia hoax for years is now suggesting that federal agents are the real criminals.

The hypocrisy is staggering, but it’s exactly what Americans have come to expect from this California radical.

The real threat to democracy

What Swalwell is proposing represents a fundamental threat to our system of government.

When elected officials start calling for state prosecutors to criminally charge federal law enforcement officers for doing their jobs, we’re no longer operating under the rule of law.

We’re operating under mob rule where Democrats think they can weaponize any office they control to go after their political opponents.

Swalwell’s remarks did not specify which statutes could be applied or what charges he believes could be brought, but his suggestion that state-level prosecutors should target federal law enforcement officers is likely to intensify existing political divisions.

That’s exactly the point.

Swalwell doesn’t care about the law or justice.

He cares about intimidating federal agents so they’ll think twice before arresting Democrats who break the law.

This dangerous escalation shows just how far Democrats are willing to go to protect their own while undermining the very foundations of American law enforcement.

The American people elected Donald Trump to restore law and order, not to bow down to the radical demands of Eric Swalwell and his fellow Democrats who think they’re above the law.
