Establishment hacks stabbed Trump in the back with this terrible piece of advice

Teamsters Big Labor boss was likely hoping for this outcome and he may get it.

Donald Trump is hoping to pick better people as advisors this time around.

Unfortunately, some of the GOP swamp seems to get in his ear occasionally.

And establishment hacks stabbed Trump in the back with this terrible piece of advice.

Donald Trump’s appointments

Donald Trump has announced several of his cabinet picks already.

While some have been outstanding, others that have been announced so far are concerning for conservatives.

Unfortunately, Trump seems to still be getting some bad advice when it comes to certain picks.

That is most definitely the case for who he announced for Secretary of Labor.

One term congresswoman Lori Chavez-DeRemer is a complete RINO, especially when it comes to labor issues.

She has supported radical union boss backed legislation, as well as supported amnesty for illegal aliens.

Chavez-DeRemer was one of only three Republicans in the House to co-sponsor the so-called Protecting the Right to Organize (PRO) Act.

Nearly every Democrat in Congress supports the PRO Act.

The PRO Act does just the opposite of protecting the rights of individual workers.

It would ban Right to Work laws in every state, meaning union bosses could force private sector workers in every state in America to pay union dues as a condition of employment.

Currently 28 states have Right to Work protections.

The PRO Act would also eliminate workers right to a secret ballot election for unionization and replace it with card check, a system that would allow union officials to pressure, coerce, and intimidate workers into signing cards, that once a majority are collected, the union would gain control over the workforce without an election.

Additionally, the PRO Act would force gig workers like Uber and Doordash drivers to be classified as employees, rather than independent contractors.

This would destroy the flexibility gig workers currently enjoy, all in the name of putting more dues money into union boss coffers.

No one who supports this radical union boss legislation should be considered to head the Labor Department.

Was it the Teamsters idea?

Many suspect that Trump got the idea to appoint Chavez-DeRemer from Teamsters boss Sean O’Brien.

O’Brien has met with Trump and spoke at the Republican National Convention earlier this year.

The Teamsters declined to endorse either candidate this year, after a poll of their membership showed 60% support Donald Trump.

Of course, had Harris received even a slight majority, you can bet the union would have endorsed her.

After announcing the nomination O’Brien thanked Trump for “for putting American workers first by nominating Rep. Lori Chavez-DeRemer for US Labor Secretary.”

Listening to O’Brien on any labor issues would be a huge mistake for the Trump administration.

The Teamsters wouldn’t even endorse Trump during the election, despite his overwhelming support from rank-and-file members.

You can bet O’Brien will stab Trump and other Republicans in the back as soon as it benefits him.

Trump owes union bosses like O’Brien nothing and should instead put his conservative base first.

Nearly 80% of all Americans believe that nobody should be forced to pay union dues as a condition of employment.

Right to Work is a popular and winning issue, and Trump and other Republicans should not shy away from it in an attempt to appease union bosses like O’Brien.

Hopefully, Trump sees the light and withdraws this nomination, otherwise, it will be up to conservative Senators to try to stop Chavez-DeRemer from being confirmed.
