The FBI has morphed into an elite group of henchmen for the Left.
But with the GOP now in power of the House of Representatives, the federal policing agency has been put on notice.
And FBI Director Christopher Wray’s plans crumbled when he was slapped with this career-ending notice from Congress.
Former President Donald Trump has revealed the dirty inner workings of the federal detective agency after it went completely off the rails with the “Russian collusion” narrative the FBI advanced while Trump was the Commander-in-Chief.
But it seems the agency is keeping up with its crooked ways with one scandal after another being exposed, including the FBI’s effort to blatantly target pro-life activists and traditional Catholics.
Meanwhile, the agency has continued to handle Hunter Biden with velvet gloves.
Now, House Republicans are fed up and calling for an overhaul of the agency.
Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) decided to kick that into high gear by taking action to boot out FBI Director, Christopher Wray.
Greene has officially filed Articles of Impeachment against Wray for the numerous abuses of power that have taken place under his so-called “leadership.”
According to the impeachment resolution filed by the GOP Congresswoman, Wray is responsible for “the development of a Federal police force to intimidate, harass, and entrap American citizens that are deemed enemies of the Biden regime.”
In her complaint she cited the FBI’s “unprecedented raid” on former President Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago home last August—a chilling banana republic move that marked a new low in American Politics.
She also pointed to the bureau’s development of a “terrorist threat tag” that is reportedly being used to track vocal pro-life activists in the aftermath of the Supreme Court overturning Roe v. Wade.
This isn’t Greene’s first foray into trying to check the Biden regime’s weaponization of federal agencies.
She already filed Articles of Impeachment against Attorney General Merrick Garland last year over his authorization of the stunning—and completely unnecessary—Mar-a-Lago raid.
Greene’s position on the issue has been reinforced by Special Counsel John Durham’s recently released report on the FBI’s role in the “Russian collusion” hoax against Trump.
Durham absolutely slammed the FBI over its mishandling of the investigation into the false claims that Trump was a puppet of the Russian government during his 2016 presidential campaign.
In a statement, Greene slammed Wray for allowing the FBI to become the Biden regime’s “personal police force.”
“Under Wray’s watch, the FBI has intimidated, harassed, and entrapped American citizens that have been deemed enemies of the Biden regime,” Greene argued. “As such, Director Wray has turned the FBI into Joe Biden and Merrick Garland’s personal police force. The Soviet-style tactics used by the FBI against normal Americans are unprecedented in this country.”
She went on to put Wray on the spot for creating a two-tier justice system in America that protects left-wing radicals while targeting anyone to the Right of Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) as though they are “domestic extremists” and a “threat to democracy.”
“Not only has Director Wray persecuted political opponents in an unprecedented and partisan way, but he has also overseen his agency take actions to shield and protect the current President and his family,” Greene’s statement added. “A senior FBI official left the agency under a cloud of accusations that he shielded a laptop belonging to the President’s son, Robert Hunter Biden, from a criminal probe.”
Considering that the GOP only has a razor thin majority, Greene may struggle to get Wray impeached, but her effort certainly has Wray—and the entire Biden regime—in a tight spot.
As much as they try to cover their tracks, the Left’s gross abuse of power is becoming abundantly apparent.
