Since Fox News fumbled the election coverage and hemorrhaged their conservative viewership base, they’ve been desperately trying to win them back.
But it’s one step forward, two steps back for the network.
And Fox News just betrayed conservatives with this one eye-rolling move.
This past weekend, Fox News host and the former George W. Bush White House Press Secretary had the former President Bush on to promote his book Out of Many, One: Portraits of America’s Immigrants.
The book is filled with open borders, pro-amnesty, and RINO propaganda.
And yet, Perino specifically went out of her way to share with the Houston Chronicle that the special was aimed at presenting former President Bush to their viewers in a positive light.
“He knows that as a former president, his words, and in this case his paintings, will get a lot of attention. This brings some creativity to thinking about that root principle that Americans hold: We’re all immigrants,” Perino said in the interview. “These people chose America. They’re so grateful to be here and their stories will resonate with Americans today even though we’re struggling with issues at the border on both sides.”
Recently, Bush has been on a press tour, appearing in interviews with CBS, NBC, and now even Fox News.
But the reality is that the recent reappearance of Bush in the public view isn’t to promote his book at all.
It’s to run Donald Trump and millions of conservatives through the mud and sell the Bush, McCain, and Romney type crony RINOism to Americans instead.
Bush even recently went on NBC to attack the modern Republican Party that has rejected fake conservatives – like Bush – and embraced Republicans that defend conservative values and put America First.
The former President went so far as to attack the Trump GOP as “protectionist,” “isolationist,” and “nativist.”
And now Fox News is giving the infamous RINO President Bush a platform to continue his attacks against President Trump and his conservative base.
