Texas Congressman Dan Crenshaw is a John McCain/George Bush/Liz Cheney-style Republican.
He spends more time attacking conservatives than he does fighting Democrats.
And Fox News viewers were floored by what Crenshaw said about Joe Biden’s prisoner swap with Russia.
Joe Biden recently traded anti-American WNBA player Brittney Griner for notorious Russian arms dealer Viktor Bout, also known as the “merchant of death.”
Back in February, authorities caught Griner at a Russian airport with a cannabis oil vape pen.
Griner pleaded guilty to drug possession charges and was sentenced to nine years in a Russian prison.
Since Griner is a lesbian who hates America, she quickly became the new cause for the woke Left who demanded Joe Biden do whatever it takes to get her out of prison and back home to the United States.
During an interview on Fox Business with host Stuart Varney, Dan Crenshaw offered his thoughts on Biden freeing someone who protested the National Anthem.
“Look, we’re all glad that Brittney Griner is home safely,” Varney began. “But she kneeled for the National Anthem in the past. What do you want to hear from her now that she’s returned?”
Not only did Crenshaw downplay Griner protesting the National Anthem, but he also refused to forcefully condemn Biden trading her for the “merchant of death.”
“Look, she doesn’t owe us an explanation necessarily,” Crenshaw responded. “I’m glad she’s home, alright? She’s in Houston. Obviously, we share that hometown. The question we’re all asking from the policy and political level is, was this a proper trade? Generally, when you’re gonna trade prisoners, there has to be some substance involved. There has to be standardization as to what you’re trading for.”
Meanwhile, Bout offered a hint at the harmful consequences of Biden allowing him out of prison during the first interview he conducted once he arrived home.
Bout, who is treated as a national hero in Russia, expressed his support for Putin’s invasion of Ukraine.
And in a chilling statement, he also vowed to get back into action and help supply the Russian army with weapons and munitions to continue the war in Ukraine.
