Fox News Channel’s Tucker Carlson usually focuses his attention on exposing corrupt politicians and big government abuses.
But not always.
And Fox News viewers were floored when Tucker Carlson took the gloves off on one of his colleagues over the battle for Speaker of the House.
During last week’s battle for Speaker of the House, Fox News contributor Ben Domenech attacked conservatives for holding out on supporting Kevin McCarthy during the first several rounds of voting.
The conservatives held the line until McCarthy agreed to a set of rules changes that handed power back to the grassroots instead of the Swamp.
In the midst of the heated negotiations and failed vote attempts, Domenech compared the conservatives who were holding out to terrorists.
“The way that they’ve gone about trying to achieve these demands has resulted in essentially this terrorist standoff between them and the overwhelming majority of people in their conference,” Domenech stated.
Domenech was one of many pundits and establishment RINOs, such as Dan Crenshaw (R-TX), who attacked and smeared the conservatives with insults.
Carlson ripped Domenech by explaining how rigorous debate is nothing new and the Speaker’s fight was exactly what Democracy looks like in action.
Carlson slammed the “moron community” critical of the proceedings.
“This is what democracy looks like when you get up close,” Carlson stated. “I want one thing, you want another thing. We schedule a vote to see who gets it, or in this case 11 votes, but whatever. But how is that disaster? Well, it’s not a disaster. It’s how the system is supposed to work. But don’t tell the moron community that.”
Carlson showed another clip of Domenech and other pundits who were furious at the conservatives who would go on to hold out until the 15th round of voting.
“They’re so excitable,” Carlson said of the pundits.
Carlson even called his colleague a “buffoon” for comparing the conservatives to terrorists over their opposition to McCarthy for Speaker.
“Then another one of the buffoons in the clip you just saw went further and called the whole thing terrorism, which is the remorseless use of violence against a civilian population to effect a political goal,” Carlson added.
Of course, after 15 rounds of voting, McCarthy finally secured the Speaker’s Gavel.
But thanks to the conservative holdouts who pundits like Domenech attacked, grassroots Americans will now have the power in the House instead of the entrenched Swamp.
