The FBI’s raid on Mar-a-Lago looks like a continuation of the partisan witch hunt to take down Donald Trump.
But it’s even worse than anyone expected.
And Fox News viewers were stunned when Trey Gowdy exposed this one huge problem with the FBI.
In a move straight out of a third-world dictatorship, Attorney General Merrick Garland authorized the FBI to storm the private home of Joe Biden’s top political opponent.
Since Donald Trump was first elected President, the FBI has essentially turned into an enforcement arm of the Democrat Party.
During his Sunday night show on Fox News, Trey Gowdy explained the disturbing trend with the FBI refusing to follow the rule of law.
“Politics ruins whatever it touches,” Gowdy said. “Religion, education, sports, and our justice system… We focus on the law because we’re a nation of laws.”
“No one is above the law. But no one is beneath it either. Consistency, fairness, impartiality, equality, those words should mean something and the best way to prove their meaning is by applying them equal to friend and foe. Lady Justice, after all, is blindfolded for a reason,” Gowdy continued.
“The competing reality we confront is the past six years of watching the Department of Justice and the FBI, those once venerable institutions, are now seen as mere extensions of the political parties,” Gowdy explained. “For those wondering why Republicans see a double standard from the FBI and DOJ, wonder no more.”

Starting with the Russian Collusion Hoax, the FBI has engaged in several witch hunts against Trump.
But they ignore Democrats like Hillary Clinton who actually violate the law.
During his time in Congress, Trey Gowdy helped expose Hillary Clinton’s illegal private email server that mishandled top secret information.
However, the FBI treated Clinton with kid gloves.
“We should want facts because facts are all that matter, but facts should matter equally, no matter who is being investigated,” Gowdy said. “Many Americans believe that is no longer the case, they believe the blindfold slipped, that Lady Justice is peeking, that the FBI treats Republicans differently from and worse than Democrats.”
“Americans are concluding the [Justice] Department and the Bureau are just two more institutions ruined by politics,” Gowdy concluded.
With the crusade to take down Donald Trump, the weaponization of the Department of Justice and the FBI is spiraling out of control.
