Gavin Newsom’s reckless mismanagement
It is no secret that Democrat Governor Gavin Newsom’s endless mismanagement has run California into the ground.
As a result, California has seen a massive migration of residents fleeing the state over the last five years.
Despite the Golden State’s beautiful weather, impressive geography, and popular industries like Hollywood and Silicon Valley, people have had it up to their necks in extremely high taxes, destructive regulations, and radical woke ideology.
This has been no concern to Newsom, however, due to his focus as Governor being set on fighting for attention in front of cameras instead of helping his state recover from its rapid decline.
Before President Joe Biden dropped out of the race in 2024, Newsom had been running his own shadow Presidential campaign to try and become the first choice for replacement in the event that Biden would bow out.
That is why he challenged popular Florida Governor Ron DeSantis to a battle on national TV to try and build some popularity at the national level.
The result of the Fox News debate was not what he had expected to happen, as DeSantis mopped the floor with the radical California Democrat.
Ultimately, Joe Biden was pushed off the campaign trail, but he ended up being replaced by Vice President Kamala Harris instead, leaving nothing for Newsom to claim.
But with the Democrat Party scrambling to figure out who should become the de facto head of the party, Newsom has wasted no time in setting himself up for a 2028 Presidential run.
Just moments after Donald Trump swept the electoral map in the 2024 election, Newsom called the together an emergency session for the California legislature in order to “Trump-proof” the state.
California declares state of emergency
Newsom wants to make it clear that he intends to be at the top of the list for the 2028 Democrat Presidential primary.
So he came up with a horrifying strategy – declare a state of emergency in California over bird flu.
In a recent declaration, Newsom stated, “This proclamation is a targeted action to ensure government agencies have the resources and flexibility they need to respond quickly to this outbreak.”
“Building on California’s testing and monitoring system – the largest in the nation — we are committed to further protecting public health, supporting our agriculture industry, and ensuring that Californians have access to accurate, up-to-date information,” continued the California Democrat.
“While the risk to the public remains low, we will continue to take all necessary steps to prevent the spread of this virus,” the declaration concluded.
In recent months, Leftists have attempted to instill fear into the public with apocalyptic conspiracies, with movies about bird flu being pushed to the front pages of streaming services, but in reality, it never gained traction.
Newsom later released a statement from his office attempting to justify his emergency declaration.
“This action comes as cases were detected in dairy cows on farms in Southern California, signaling the need to further expand monitoring and build on the coordinated statewide approach to contain and mitigate the spread of the virus,” his statement began.
“The virus has spread in 16 states among dairy cattle, following its first confirmed detection in Texas and Kansas in March 2024,” he added. “To date, no person-to-person spread of Bird Flu has been detected in California and nearly all infected individuals had exposure to infected cattle. California has already established the largest testing and monitoring system in the nation to respond to the outbreak.”
As of now, there have been zero reported instances of human-to-human transmission of the bird flu.
But due to the amount of hysteria that has developed around the Left regarding bird flu, many Americans are beginning to speculate that the very same people who led the COVID apocalypse into the overexaggerated nightmare that it became were trying to do the same thing with the 2024 election.
This time, however, the manufactured panic and fear mongering over bird flu has gone nowhere.
