Virtually every Presidential election for at least the past quarter of a century has seen radical left-wing celebrities promise to leave the country if the Democrat doesn’t win.
Oddly, they’ve literally never followed through with action.
But now George Clooney may actually flee the country after Democrats hit him with this devastating reality check.
The blame game
Back in July, not long after President Joe Biden made the stunning announcement that he was ending his re-election campaign and throwing his support behind Vice President Kamala Harris, longtime journalist Seymour Hersh revealed the Democrat elites responsible for forcing Biden out of the race.
Based on interviews with sources close to the ordeal, Hersh revealed that while Representative Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) spent weeks leading the effort to convince Biden to step aside, it was ultimately former President Barack Obama who threatened his physically and cognitively depleted former Vice President with the embarrassment of being removed from office through the invoking of the 25th Amendment unless he capitulated to their demands.
Needless to say, with Democrats now playing the blame game and attempting to find scapegoats they can deem responsible for Kamala’s utterly pathetic showing, most observers assumed Obama, Pelosi, and the other puppetmasters who orchestrated the Biden coup and prevented Democrat voters from exercising their right to vote, would get the brunt of the blame.
After all, Kamala’s campaign was controlled by handpicked Obama loyalists, giving the former President and his lackeys carte blanche on messaging, strategy, spending, and the like.
But instead, it seems as though the woke outrage mob is directing their ire in another direction.
According to a report from The Sun, it’s actor George Clooney who many “distraught Dems” have turned on in the wake of President-elect Donald Trump’s historic victory.
“Democrats seem to have been left in shambles as a furious blame game has erupted in and outside the party,” The Sun reported. “The distraught Dems have turned on George Clooney after the actor requested Joe Biden resign before Trump’s election triumph.”

You see, when Clooney made the decision to pen an op-ed for The New York Times in which he called for Biden to step aside due to his severe physical and cognitive decline, many Democrats heralded the actor for seemingly giving his fellow Democrats permission to openly call for Biden to end his re-election bid.
And many Democrats even followed Clooney’s lead when he claimed that Biden should be celebrated as some sort of American hero for supposedly doing “the most selfless thing that anyone has done since George Washington” by stepping aside.
But of course, now that Trump is President-elect, winning an electoral college landslide and the popular vote while also leading Republicans to take back the majorities in both the U.S. House and Senate, Democrats refuse to take responsibility for making Kamala their backup plan to a severely diminished Biden, and have instead deemed Clooney as public enemy number one.
For instance, reporter Joshua Hartley took to X recently to post a screenshot of Clooney’s op-ed with the caption, “Thank you George Clooney.”
Another left-wing X user wrote, “I blame George Clooney, he said no more money [for the Biden campaign] and now look.”
With his fellow Democrats turning on him, George Clooney may have no choice but to flee the country in order to avoid the woke outrage mob’s scorn.
