George Soros just got caught red-handed bankrolling Letitia James and this proves everything

New York Attorney General Letitia James built her entire career going after President Donald Trump.

She made it her mission to destroy him through endless lawsuits and prosecutions.

But George Soros just got caught red-handed bankrolling Letitia James and this proves everything.

Follow the money to understand the witch hunt

Campaign finance records just exposed what conservatives suspected all along about the coordinated assault on Donald Trump.

Far-left billionaire George Soros and his family have poured more than $71,000 directly into Letitia James' campaign coffers since 2019, according to New York Board of Elections filings reported by the New York Post.¹

Soros himself donated $18,000 to James in July 2024, followed by $13,000 from his daughter-in-law Jennifer Soros in May.²

That $31,000 is specifically earmarked for her 2026 re-election campaign.

James also raked in another $40,000 from the Soros family dating back to 2019 for previous campaigns.³

But the direct donations are just the tip of the iceberg.

The real money flows through organizations Soros bankrolls that provide massive indirect support to James and her political machine.

Soros' Open Society Foundation has funneled $23.7 million to the Working Families Party since 2016 through its fundraising arm Working Families Organization Inc.⁴

His family members have showered the New York branch with another $865,000 in direct donations since 2018.⁵

James launched her career as a Soros-backed radical

James' relationship with the Soros-funded Working Families Party isn't some recent alliance of convenience.

She made history in 2003 by becoming the first Working Families Party candidate ever elected to office in New York when she won a Brooklyn City Council seat representing Fort Greene.⁶

The Working Families Party is where far-left operatives and outright socialists get their start in New York politics.

James ran as a Democrat alongside Andrew Cuomo in her successful 2018 attorney general campaign, but she openly accepted the Working Families Party endorsement again during her 2022 re-election.⁷

That same year she went after Trump, she was collecting Soros cash and Working Families Party backing.

Michael Henry, a commercial litigator and Republican running to unseat James in 2026, called it exactly what it is.

"George Soros has spent years financing the radical left's most extreme projects, and the outcome is almost always the same: instability and disorder that is destroying our state," Henry told the New York Post.⁸

He's not wrong about the pattern.

"We saw it with Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg, so no one should be surprised that Soros is heavily backing Letitia James' ideological crusades and political vendettas that put New Yorkers' safety on the back burner," Henry explained.⁹

The lawfare against Trump was funded from the start

James didn't hide her intentions when she ran for attorney general in 2018.

She openly campaigned on targeting Trump, calling him an "illegitimate president" and promising to "use every area of the law" to investigate him and his businesses.¹⁰

She delivered on that promise with a vengeance, filing lawsuit after lawsuit against Trump and his organization.

Her civil fraud case accused Trump of inflating his net worth to secure better loan terms from banks.

A New York judge initially ordered Trump to pay more than $450 million in penalties.¹¹

Trump appealed, and a state appellate panel threw out the more than $500 million in fines in August 2025.¹²

The appeals court ruled the penalty violated the Eighth Amendment as an excessive fine.

But the liability finding remained, and James vowed to keep fighting.

James refused Trump's request to drop the case even after his landslide election victory, determined to continue her persecution.¹³

President Trump has repeatedly accused Soros of pulling the strings behind the prosecutions brought against him by James and other Democrat prosecutors.

Trump called for Soros and "his group of psychopaths" to be indicted under RICO statutes for their role in funding anti-Israel activists and violent immigration protests.¹⁴

"We're not going to let these lunatics rip America apart anymore," Trump wrote on Truth Social.¹⁵

The Justice Department has been investigating whether Soros' activities warrant criminal charges.¹⁶

Ironically, James herself got indicted in October 2025 on federal fraud charges for allegedly lying on a mortgage application for property she owns in Virginia.¹⁷

She pleaded not guilty, but the parallels to her case against Trump are impossible to ignore.

A judge dismissed the case after ruling the U.S. Attorney who presented it was illegally appointed, but the Justice Department is pursuing new indictments.¹⁸

The Soros money trail to Letitia James proves what conservatives knew all along — her crusade against Trump was never about justice.

It was a coordinated political hit job bankrolled by a far-left billionaire determined to destroy his enemies through lawfare.
