Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich was heckled and silenced recently by Fox News hosts on Outnumbered just for mentioning George Soros by name.
Longtime viewers were absolutely stunned by what they were seeing.
But Glenn Beck just revealed this dirty secret Fox News doesn’t want you to know.
Gingrich didn’t do anything wrong.
He simply called out Soros for funding the campaigns of left-wing District Attorneys who, now that they’re in office, were letting rioters walk away scot-free to continue carrying out acts of violence.
For that, the co-hosts on Outnumbered shut down Gingrich and scolded him for mentioning Soros at all.
But in a recent interview on NewsmaxTV, The Blaze founder Glenn Beck revealed that Soros’ influence runs deeper than anyone knows at Fox News, even going back more than a decade when Beck hosted his popular 5pm show.
“I’ve often told the story of being in Roger Ailes’ office and he said to me at one point ‘You know what your problem is . . . you won’t play the game.’ He said ‘Look we all play a game,’” Beck recounted.
Beck explained to viewers that the “game” former network President Roger Ailes referred to involved playing along with not criticizing Soros.
“I was so disgusted by that. And I said ‘I don’t want to. It’s not a game to me. I don’t want to be a part of that,’” Beck continued.
Beck went on to explain how Soros could threaten Fox’s profitability so he was advised to stay away from discussing Soros.
“That conversation was about George Soros,” Beck added. “They make money on everything that they do. And George Soros has it locked up because he can destroy you.”
Fox News is supposed to be the “conservative” news network in America.
But when even Fox News won’t criticize the guy funding the most dangerous left-wing causes in America, there’s something desperately wrong.
And according to Beck, it’s been that way for a long time.
