The investigation into the origins of the Russian collusion hoax is ongoing.
A recent court filing by Special Counsel John Durham created a major stir.
And now Hillary Clinton is worried sick after a prosecutor just flipped this one key witness.
Special Counsel John Durham is going after Perkins Coie and Clinton campaign lawyer Michael Sussmann for lying to the FBI about the Russian collusion hoax.
In a recent court filing, Durham explained how he flipped a witness identified as “Researcher-2” by offering them immunity from prosecution in exchange for their testimony.
“The Government therefore pursued Researcher-2’s immunity in order to uncover otherwise-unavailable facts underlying the opposition research project that Tech Executive-1 and others carried out in advance of the defendant’s meeting with the FBI. To argue that the Government has engaged in a discriminatory use of immunity here by granting such a witness immunity but not another is absurd,” the filing read.
According to the filing, five separate witnesses exercised their Fifth Amendment rights during Durham’s investigation.
Durham wrote in a previous court filing that the Clinton campaign, along with its agents and researchers, schemed a “joint venture” to attempt to link the Trump campaign to Russia.
Researcher Igor Danchenko was charged by Durham for lying to the FBI about his sources for the fake Christopher Steele dossier.
Clinton associate Charles Dolan was one of the top sources Danchenko used to create the fake dossier.
Danchenko allegedly received “dirt” on Trump campaign Chairman Paul Manafort from Danchenko, which eventually ended up in the fake dossier.
Even though the information came from Clinton insiders, it was falsely portrayed as being obtained from a Russian source.
Durham’s information led to charges that the Clinton campaign paid for the Steele dossier and its agents helped draft the document.
The unnamed researcher who just offered testimony in exchange for immunity could shed new light on how the Clinton campaign created the fake dossier and then used it as a political weapon against Donald Trump.
The first public accounting of how the Russian collusion hoax was orchestrated will be Durham’s upcoming trials of both Sussmann and Danchenko.
