Now, the corporate controlled media that has had his back for the past 18 months is speculating about putting a more viable candidate on the ballot in 2024.
Not only that, a mere five of 50 Democrats were willing to publicly support Biden for another term when The Daily Caller polled them.
Plenty of his former colleagues refused to even respond when asked whether they would support the current, demented, leader of their party.
With Biden’s political career in jeopardy, Democrats are reliving their 2020 nightmare with attention turning toward former First Lady Hillary Clinton.
Clinton’s lifelong ambition has been to ascend to the Oval Office and based on her age, 2024 likely her final chance to run.
All signs pointed toward her campaign gearing up as she made the rounds on the corporate-controlled media’s biggest news shows.
She was also tapped to give a high-profile speech at the New York State Democrat’s Convention.
Just in recent months, Joe Biden has proven he is literally unable to wander around at the White House Easter Egg Hunt without the Easter Bunny’s help, ride a bike, or make it through a political “drop by” without having a cue card detailing his every action.
With all of that and more pointing to Joe Biden’s inability to stand for re-election in 2024, it seems likely Hillary will gear up for another run.
But she recently dropped an absolute bombshell announcement — in an interview with the Britain-based Financial Times no less — that shocked both her supporters and critics.
After years of building toward what looked like an inevitable 2024 run, including writing and promoting a book, Hillary claimed she’s not planning to run.
“No, out of the question,” Clinton said. “First of all, I expect Biden to run. He certainly intends to run. It would be very disruptive to challenge that.”
Instead she focused on slamming Donald Trump, claiming that it would be “so frightening” if he were to win again.
“We are standing on the precipice of losing our democracy, and everything that everybody else cares about then goes out the window,” Clinton said. “Look, the most important thing is to win the next election. The alternative is so frightening that whatever does not help you win should not be a priority.”
The real question now is whether she’s backed in a corner and knows she can’t get the nomination or if she’s playing coy and hoping to be begged to get on the ballot rather than elbowing her way in.
Based on what has come out over the past few months it’s likely she wants to maintain a low profile.
Her former campaign manager was forced to testify in the trial of her former campaign lawyer and revealed Hillary actually gave the order to run with the “Russian collusion” hoax.
Now she’s trying to look like a team player by bowing out for the good of her party.
But that leaves impossibly thin pickings for a candidate.
Somehow, Kamala Harris is every bit as gaffe prone as her big boss and apparently has zero leadership skills — not to mention being completely bereft of common sense.
Bernie Sanders is the socialist senator from Vermont and a perennial candidate, but he will also be in his 80s when it’s time to campaign in 2024.
That leaves even more radical — and clueless — options like Senator Elizabeth Warren of Massachusetts and Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez from New York.
The reality is, without Hillary or Joe, the Democrats are in even more trouble than ever.
