No one is less subtle than Hillary Clinton.
Her sudden re-emergence is as obvious of a sign that Hillary wants one more shot at the White House as the public has seen to date.
And Hillary Clinton’s weird answer about Joe Biden’s future just put the President on notice.
In a stunning shift from the tradition of modern history, a massive uprising within the top ranks of the Democrat Party against a Joe Biden re-election campaign has begun.
Numerous top Democrat strategists and talking heads have gone on the record with several corporate-controlled media outlets who have been top allies of the Biden regime, like The New York Times and Washington Post, to say the President is “too old” to run again.
On top of that, the overwhelming majority of Democrat Senators refused to say whether they would support Biden in 2024 should he run again when The Daily Caller recently reached out to them.
And as a result, several of the biggest names in Democrat politics have begun to surface as a possible replacement, including former First Lady Hillary Clinton.
With the experience and knowledge of someone who’s unsuccessfully run for President twice already, Hillary has been making the rounds to all the typical hot spots hit by presumptive candidates for higher office, all while being sure not to say the wrong thing when asked about her intentions.
She has even chosen to subject herself to having to sound like a dutiful member of Biden’s army of supporters anytime she’s asked about the current President, pretending as though she wouldn’t give anything for Joe Biden to “move aside” tomorrow.
But in a recent appearance at the Aspen Ideas Festival – whatever that load of left-wing elitist garbage is – Hillary sent shockwaves through the political world when she put an interesting caveat on supporting Biden’s re-election campaign.
“I would endorse our sitting President, yes, of course,” Clinton said when asked if she would endorse Biden in 2024. “I mean, this is a silly question.”
Notice that Hillary was sure to specify that she would endorse “our sitting President” in 2024, referring to the current occupant of the White House in a way few, if any, ever do unintentionally.
It’s clear that Hillary Clinton would love nothing more than to have a chance to run for the White House again, and sadly enough for all those hoping to finally see the glass ceiling broken, 2024 is most likely her absolute last chance.
But if she’s going to pull off the ultimate political chess move and take the nomination from Joe Biden, she’s going to have to play the hand she’s dealt perfectly.
Which is exactly why her use of the term “our sitting President” when referring to Joe Biden’s future is so significant.
You see, if Joe Biden doesn’t run in 2024 for whatever reason, another name at the top of the list of potential Democrat candidates is none other than sitting Vice President Kamala Harris.
The last thing Hillary Clinton wants to do is imply in any way, shape or form that she also endorses Vice President Harris when she could be a chief rival in just a matter of months.
And that’s especially true if the rumblings about many top Democrats beginning to question Biden’s competence, advanced age, and fitness to hold office continue to ramp up to the point where the 25th Amendment possibly enters the conversation amongst left-wing radicals.
Besides, she chose to claim that she was making her decision to endorse Biden’s re-election campaign based solely on the fact that he happens to be the Democrat “most likely” to beat Donald Trump.
“Let’s go with the person most likely to win,” Clinton explained. “Joe Biden beat Donald Trump in a huge landslide victory in the popular vote. I think that says a lot.”
Don’t think for a second that Hillary Clinton doesn’t believe that she is better positioned to win, even in a race against Donald Trump, in 2024 than Joe Biden right now.
Hillary’s merely playing the game, not wanting to make too many waves too quickly by appearing to support a primary challenge to Biden prematurely, possibly risking throwing the Democrats’ entire General Election prospects in jeopardy, electing Donald Trump, and ripping the Democrat Party apart.
No matter what you think about her, Hillary Clinton is a slick political operator who knows exactly what she’s doing.
Nothing she does is by mistake or without reason, and with each day that Joe Biden’s approval ratings continue to plummet, she’ll inch closer to trying to reclaim the Democrat Party’s mantle.
