With the tables turned in the U.S. House, Democrats don’t exactly know how to act.
They never imagined that all of the schemes they pulled over the past few years would come back to haunt them.
And now Democrats blew a fuse after Kevin McCarthy actually stuck to his guns and sent Ilhan Omar packing.
After the 2020 election, then-Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) seized on all of the left-wing hysteria and noise coming from the so-called “mainstream” media about former President Donald Trump to orchestrate an unprecedented power grab on the down-low.
Pelosi chose to lead the Democrat majority on a crusade to strip duly elected Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) of her committee assignments because she previously shared opinions on Facebook that the Left deemed to be “inflammatory comments.”
From that point on, House Republican leader Rep. Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) promised that if Republicans took back the majority and he became Speaker, he’d hold Democrat Members of Congress to the same standard.
And for once, the establishment hack is actually following through.
Now, as Speaker of the House, McCarthy has booted both Reps. Eric Swalwell (D-CA) and Adam Schiff (D-CA) from their assignments on the House Intelligence Committee.
For his part, Rep. Swalwell allegedly had a sexual relationship with a Communist Chinese spy who he also gave a job in his campaign, while Rep. Schiff literally spent years lying to the American people about the Russian collusion hoax he knew wasn’t real all along.
But most importantly, Speaker McCarthy is also following through on his promise by pushing to remove Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) from the House Foreign Affairs Committee, as well.
Rep. Omar has spent years spouting anti-Semitic hate speech, conspiracy theories, and other thinly veiled bigotry, including pushing the decades-old conspiracy theory that they use their wealth to secretly control American politics.
She even went so far as to claim that Jewish Americans share a dual loyalty to the U.S. and Israel.
“I want to talk about the political influence in this country that says it is okay for people to push for allegiance to a foreign country,” Omar claimed.
Of course, Rep. Omar is part of the Democrat effort to push Americans to declare unwavering allegiance to Ukraine, even if it means nuclear war, or risk being labeled a “Putin-loving fascist.”
And to top it all off, Ilhan Omar actually publicly claimed that the U.S. and Israel were no different than Hamas and the Taliban as they all supposedly commit “unthinkable atrocities.”
When she was finally confronted with her anti-Semitism by CNN’s Jake Tapper, Rep. Omar excused her bigotry by claiming Jewish people “haven’t been partners in justice,” and aren’t “equally engaging in seeking justice around the world” with other minorities.
As expected, though, Democrats and their lapdog allies in the legacy media have circled the wagons around Omar in a clear effort to cover for the anti-Semitic Congresswoman.
But up until now, Speaker McCarthy has – to his credit – held firm, while reiterating every chance that he gets that he’s simply following the precedent set by Nancy Pelosi.
“I made all [three] cases before,” McCarthy said. “It’s not like it’s anything new.”
“Remember, this is what Nancy Pelosi – this is the type of Congress she wanted to have,” he added.
Democrats absolutely hate when their tactics are used against them, and pretend as if it’s a totally unprecedented affront to the rule of law.
But likely thanks to the conservative Members of Congress who forced Kevin McCarthy to actually work for the Speaker’s gavel, he’s suddenly grown a spine.
And now, he’s sending anti-Semitic Democrat Ilhan Omar packing.
