Ilhan Omar is no stranger to the center of controversy.
She is frequently caught with her own foot planted firmly in her mouth and forced to walk back her radical statements.
But now Ilhan Omar just made an announcement that no one saw coming.
The Left’s radical woke mob has set the bar impossibly high and this has turned them cannibalistic.
This is exactly what happened to MSNBC’s Joy Reid this past Tuesday when the mob tried to swallow another one of their own.
During the broadcast, Reid was pushing the Fake News Media narrative that the violence and riots popping up across America are President Trump’s fault and that Trump’s supporters have been radicalized much like terrorists.
“Leaders, let’s say in the Muslim world, talk a lot of violent talk and encourage their supporters to commit violence. … We in the U.S. media describe that as radicalizing people,” Reid began. “That’s the way we talk about how Muslims act.”
“When you see what Donald Trump is doing, is that any different from what we describe as radicalizing people?” Reid questioned.
But in making her point, Reid had run afoul of the Left’s rules of identity politics are brought on the ire of the mob.
That’s when Congresswoman Ilhan Omar attacked Reid by calling her a racist and demanding an apology.
“Honestly, this kinda of usual Islamophobia is hurtful and dangerous.” Omar posted on social media. “We deserve better and an apology for the painful moment for so many Muslims around our country should be forthcoming.”
Ilhan Omar is a prime example of how there will always be someone out there who will try to one-up you in so-called “progressive” virtue signaling politics.
Throughout history, all of these “woke” mobs that see themselves as revolutionaries have eventually eaten themselves alive.
That’s because the mobs hunger for social justice can never be satisfied and without targets on the outside they turn inward to hold themselves to the impossible standards they set.
