Ilhan Omar made one vicious attack on Trump that backfired in the worst way

The Minnesota Congresswoman's past is catching up with her.

Her hypocrisy just got exposed for the entire nation to see.

And Ilhan Omar made one vicious attack on Trump that backfired in the worst way.

Omar's inflammatory attack crosses the line

Ilhan Omar posted on X a clip of President Trump discussing the massive Somali fraud crisis in Minnesota with the caption "The leader of the Pedophile Protection Party is trying to deflect attention from his name being all over the Epstein files. At least in Somalia they execute pedophiles not elect them."

The inflammatory attack came after Trump told Fox Business' Larry Kudlow that his administration would pursue at least $19 billion in fraud cases connected to Minnesota's Somali community.

"Somalia has come in here. What they've done to our country, these people, they've come into our country and what they've done with that fake congresswoman, she's so bad," Trump said.

Omar tried to deflect from the legitimate fraud investigations by attacking Trump over the Epstein files.

Trump kicked Epstein out for being a creep

The Department of Justice released millions of pages of Epstein-related documents where Trump's name appeared.

Many of those appearances were in news articles and media coverage.

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt explained that Trump kicked Epstein out of his private Mar-a-Lago golf club for being "creepy."

The former Palm Beach police chief told the FBI in 2019 that Trump called him after Epstein's arrest to say "thank goodness you're stopping him, everyone has known he's been doing this."

Trump also told the police chief that Ghislaine Maxwell was "evil" and investigators should "focus on her."

Epstein was arrested and convicted in Florida for solicitation of a minor for prostitution in 2008.

The fraud Omar won't address

Federal prosecutors have charged 98 defendants in Minnesota fraud cases — 85 of whom are of Somali descent.

To date, 64 defendants have been convicted.

The Department of Justice has issued over 1,750 subpoenas, executed over 130 search warrants, and conducted over 1,000 witness interviews.

First Assistant U.S. Attorney Joe Thompson told reporters that half or more of the roughly $18 billion in federal funds supporting 14 Minnesota programs since 2018 may have been stolen.

The most prominent case centers on Feeding Our Future, a nonprofit that fraudulently siphoned approximately $250 million from pandemic meal programs.

Attorney General Merrick Garland called it the country's largest pandemic relief fraud scheme.

Omar's own documented fraud allegations

Omar attacking Trump over allegations while ignoring her own controversies is peak hypocrisy.

She reportedly married her brother Ahmed Nur Said Elmi in a Christian ceremony in 2009.

He then fraudulently obtained student loans and attended college.

Rep. Nancy Mace moved to subpoena immigration records related to Omar and her alleged brother-husband during a House Oversight hearing in January 2026.

Both Democrats and Republicans on the committee tabled the motion.

"Democrats and Republicans teamed up to kill our motion to subpoena the records," Mace said.

"Washington did what it always does, protect its own."

Border Czar Tom Homan signaled that federal officials have started pulling records and files related to Omar's potential immigration fraud.

The Trump Administration launched a massive effort to dismantle the fraud empires built under Tim Walz's watch as Minnesota governor.

FBI Director Kash Patel surged personnel and investigative resources to Minnesota to dismantle large-scale fraud schemes.

The Department of Homeland Security conducted door-to-door investigations of suspected fraud sites.

Omar's attack on Trump was a desperate attempt to deflect from the real story: billions in taxpayer dollars stolen through fraud schemes in her own community while she remained silent.
