All hell is breaking out within Democrats’ inner circles.
And it doesn’t bode well for Sleepy Joe as he comes under fire for classified documents strewn around the home his wayward son regularly uses.
Now, MSNBC viewers are getting their hearing checked after Democrat Squad member Ilhan Omar (D-MI) opened her mouth on live television to join Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CAI) in piling against their party’s own President.
It’s no surprise Republicans are jumping all over Joe Biden after he left classified documents, swiped from the government back when he was Barack Obama’s VP, laying around his Penn Center office and strewn around his home.
But what nobody saw coming was how quickly Democrats would flat out abandon him.
Normally, Democrats at all levels would form a united front to push back against a scandal of any size—that was certainly true when the story about Hunter Biden’s “laptop from hell” story surfaced in October 2020.
So Ilhan Omar completely shocked MSNBC viewers with her one-word response to news a Special Counsel has been assigned to investigate the President.
Last year, a swarm of armed FBI agents descended on Mar-a-Lago, Donald Trump’s private estate, over a spat with the National Archives over whether certain documents had been declassified or not when he left office.
Since that August raid, Democrats have been haranguing Donald Trump and alleging documents he took for his future presidential library were stolen.
Of course, it was the perfect manufactured excuse to call for Merrick Garland to launch yet another witch hunt targeting the former president.
But the tables turned when Joe Biden was caught engaged in far more suspicious behavior with stolen classified documents from his time as Vice President hidden in various unsecure locations over the past six years.
And it seems this time Biden is on his own.
Many Democrats are starting to distance themselves from the President in hopes of avoiding any fallout from the classified documents scandal—and likely hoping to get a different candidate on their party’s presidential ballot in 2024.
Partisan hack Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) has gone on the record saying that Merrick Garland made the right decision by appointing the Special Counsel to dig into Biden’s misdeeds.
Now far-Left Democrat Rep. Ilhan Omar has piled on by refusing to defend Biden—even when she was set up to do so by an MSNBC host.
The jaw-dropping moment happened when Omar was a guest on Symone Sanders’ weekend MSNBC show Symone.
“Start by getting your reaction to the news of today,” Sanders began with her practice leftist interview set-up technique. “Six pages now – no additional pages of classified documents having been found at President Biden’s home in Delaware.”
It was the perfect opening for Omar to make a predictable push to let Biden off the hook.
Instead, she stunned everyone listening.
Omar reported that she’s “glad” Garland is coming down on the President.
“Well, one, I’m glad that there is a special prosecutor that’s been appointed to investigate this,” Omar declared.
Symone Sanders was clearly shocked by the unhinged leftist’s response, scrambling to regain her equilibrium.
“You are glad that there’s a special prosecutor,” Sanders repeated. “Tell me why.”
Omar responded by telling Sanders that this is something that “should be taken seriously” adding that it “should be investigated.”
Joe Biden has been part of the Democrat establishment for decades.
He thought he would get a free pass through any storm.
Some in his party may have decided they’ve had enough.
In typical Washington, D.C. fashion they will surely throw Biden under the bus if it will help protect Democrats’ power.
But there’s a long way to go before they’ll openly demand Biden’s resignation.
They know Merrick Garland appointing a Special Counsel affords them time to accomplish that if it comes to it.
In the meantime, they can still use any findings to massage a favorable result for Biden.
It might also help them frame the narrative before the House Republican majority’s probes.
