Ilhan Omar has built her career on divisive rhetoric targeting America’s closest ally in the Middle East.
But the radical congresswoman just showed her true colors in the most despicable way possible.
And Ilhan Omar turned her back on reporters after they asked her one question that exposed her true colors.
Omar refuses to condemn brutal murder of Israeli Embassy workers
Two young people with their whole lives ahead of them were gunned down in cold blood on the streets of Washington, D.C., as they were leaving an event at the Capital Jewish Museum, according to reports, on Wednesday evening when a man opened fire and killed them both.
The victims, Yaron Lischinsky and Sarah Milgrim, were reportedly about to become engaged, according to the Embassy of Israel, with the ambassador oddly referring to Lishinsky in a statement as “the young man” and the pair as “the couple.”
Law enforcement arrested 30-year-old Elias Rodriguez of Chicago in connection with the murders.
When reporters asked Representative Ilhan Omar (D-MN) to condemn this horrific act of violence, her response was as predictable as it was disgusting.
“I’m going to go for now,” Omar told reporters when asked if she would react to the shooting.

The Minnesota Congresswoman literally turned her back on the press and walked away rather than condemn the murder of two innocent people.
Omar’s office didn’t even bother responding to Fox News Digital’s request for comment.
Omar’s long history of anti-Israel actions
Omar’s refusal to condemn these murders shouldn’t surprise anyone who has been paying attention to her radical anti-Israel agenda.
The first Somali American elected to Congress has been a vocal supporter of Palestinian causes throughout her time in office.
She has repeatedly come under fire for inflammatory comments targeting the Jewish community.
In April 2024, Omar appeared at a Columbia University encampment and made the outrageous statement that all Jewish kids should remain safe “whether they’re pro-genocide or anti-genocide.”
The Congresswoman’s own daughter, Isra Hirsi, was arrested during a protest at Columbia University that same month.
Omar has consistently refused to condemn Hamas terrorism while attacking Israel’s right to defend itself – something Trump insisted the independent country can now do without the United States amid his recent Middle East trip, with Trump White House envoy Steve Witkoff – who secured the release of Edan Alexander, the final Israeli-American hostage held by Hamas, in his unilateral negotiations in recent weeks – remarking last week of Trump’s desire to end the humanitarian crisis happening in Gaza.
“We do not want to see a humanitarian crisis, and we will not allow it to occur on President Trump’s watch,” Trump’s chief negotiator said according to Axios.
Meanwhile, the Minnesota Congresswoman’s silence in the face of this latest act of violence, which will surely increase pressure on the Trump administration’s negotiation efforts, speaks volumes about where her sympathies truly lie.
President Trump leads the way in condemning violence
While Omar ran away from reporters, President Donald Trump immediately went to Truth Social and condemned “These horrible D.C. killings.”
“Hatred and Radicalism have no place in the USA. Condolences to the families of the victims. So sad that such things as this can happen! God Bless You ALL!” Trump added.
Secretary of State Marco Rubio also condemned the murders and vowed that those responsible would face justice.
“We condemn in the strongest possible terms the murder of two staff members from the Embassy of Israel in Washington, DC,” Rubio wrote on X. “Our prayers are with their loved ones. This was a brazen act of cowardly, antisemitic violence. Make no mistake: we will track down those responsible and bring them to justice.”
The contrast between Trump’s leadership and Omar’s cowardice couldn’t be more stark.
While the President offered comfort to grieving families and condemned the violence, Omar couldn’t even be bothered to pretend she cared about two innocent lives lost.
Yaron Lischinsky was born in Israel and grew up in Germany.
Sarah Milgrim was an American employee working for the Israeli Embassy.
Omar’s refusal to condemn this act of violence shows that her radical ideology matters more to her than basic human decency.
Her walkaway from reporters was a walkaway from the values that make America great.
The families of Yaron Lischinsky and Sarah Milgrim deserve justice.
They also deserve better than representatives who can’t even bring themselves to condemn their murders.
