J.D. Vance stood out to be one of the most notable Vice Presidential candidates in an election cycle yet.
He was never afraid to share his true feelings about his experiences on the campaign trail.
And J.D. Vance just opened up about one terrible truth surrounding the 2024 election.
J.D. Vance calls out political hatred
Since the moment Donald Trump was victorious in the 2016 election, radical woke ideology – specifically cancel culture – became scripture for the Democrat Party.
The Left immediately began singling out friends and family members to cut off entirely from their lives, simply because they wanted to support Donald Trump.
Across the country, from college campuses to the workplace, Trump supporters began silencing themselves in hopes that their friends and families would cut them off.
Oftentimes, they would censor themselves out of fear that they could potentially be booted from school, or even lose their jobs for the terrible mistake of supporting the “wrong” person for President.
This caused a massive breakdown in the social climate that resulted in a serious political division throughout America, all because the Left went off the rails psychologically because Hillary Clinton was unable to defeat Donald Trump.
But in 2024, the more J.D. Vance made public appearances and participated on the campaign trail, the more popular he became.
On the day of the election, Vance recited a line that he loved to share throughout the campaign, which is that no matter what the result was on Election Day, nobody should lose friendships or even relationships with family members because they did not see the result they had hoped for.
“You know, my most important message is we ought to argue, disagree about, persuade each other about politics,” Vance began while speaking to reporters.
“That’s that’s part of the natural process. But we can’t discard friends and we can’t discard family members,” he added, just after casting his Election Day vote.
Vance calls to eliminate political hatred in America
While the Left became more acquainted with secular beliefs, their politics became their religion.
Democrats began treating anyone that did not fall into their fold politically as a heretical figure.
Vance reminded Americans that elections happen, and the results will leave someone disappointed every time, but that friends and families should remain permanent parts of everybody’s lives.
“I think that if we all just recognize this basic principle that we ought to love people, we ought to be friends with people, we ought to be family members with people regardless of their politics,” added Trump’s Vice Presidential candidate. “That would do a lot to heal the division.”
This echoed a similar story Vance personally experienced on the campaign trail when people he used to be friends with chose to leak text messages to the media to try and hurt Trump and Vance.
“I know myself, I’ve had a lot of friends – not a lot – I’ve had a few friends who have cast their friendship aside because I decided that I wanted Donald J. Trump to be the winner in the last election, in this election,” he reminisced. “I think that’s a tragedy, and I’m not going to follow that example.”
Vance’s call for unity across America focused on trying to emphasize what truly mattered in life, which he translated to be relationships with other people.
His goal was to remind people that it was people’s relationships with others that brought happiness and joy to their lives, not the results of an election.
“I’d say to everybody, whether you’re voting for Donald Trump or voting for Kamala Harris, remember friends and family, that stuff is what really, really matters,” Vance emphasized. “We ought to be kind to one another, we ought to treat each other with respect.”
“And fundamentally, what we’re trying to do, President Trump and I, is just build the kind of country where our fellow Americans can achieve their dreams,” he continued.
“But that’s all of our fellow Americans, regardless of who they vote for,” concluded Vance.
