The incoming Trump administration is ready to roll up their sleeves and get to work.

Joe Biden left behind an awful mess.

And J.D. Vance made one promise that struck fear into the hearts of Democrats.

Joe Biden leaves office with a country in crisis

The southern border has been in a state of chaos for the past four years under President Joe Biden.

President-elect Donald Trump received a mandate from voters to secure the border to stop the flood of drugs and illegal aliens pouring into the country.

Vice President-elect J.D. Vance said that Biden was leaving a “dumpster fire” behind for the new administration during an appearance on Fox News Sunday

“I do think it’s important to reiterate that not just on the border but on a whole host of issues, President Biden has left us an absolute dumpster fire,” Vance said. “Now we’re excited to get to work. But we need to be open and honest about the fact that President Biden has not left the next administration in a good place, right?”

Vance listed some of the challenges that are being left for Trump to solve.

“FEMA’s funds are depleted. We have a wide-open southern border,” Vance explained. “Oil is going through the roof. Bond yields went from 4.1 percent to 4.8 percent in a month. And that’s on top of the fact that President Biden has been running the largest peacetime deficits in the history of this country. So we’ve got a lot of debt, a lot of problems, and a wide-open southern border.”

Securing the border is the top priority for the Trump administration

Vance revealed that Trump would send the message on day one about border security.

“Now on the border crisis in particular, the most important thing that we have to do is to send a message that America is closed to illegal immigration,” Vance explained.  “And you’re going to see, I think, dozens of executive orders coming from the Trump administration, coming from us on day one that send a message to Customs and Border Patrol, you guys are allowed to do your job again. And to illegal immigrants all over the world, you are not welcome in this country illegally.”

Host Shannon Bream asked him about criticism from the Left that deporting illegal aliens will break up families.

Vance predicted that the term “family separation” would be thrown around a lot in the media during Trump’s Presidency.

“That is a dishonest term to hide behind the fact that Joe Biden has not done border enforcement,” Vance stated. “If you say, for example, in the United States we have a guy who’s convicted of a violent crime and has to go to prison, we want that guy to go to prison. But yes, it does mean that that guy is going to be separated from his family. That is the consequence of committing violence upon your fellow citizens.”

Vance said that Democrats would hide behind compassion to protest deportations and border security.

“It is not compassion to allow the drug cartels to traffic small children,” Vance said. “It is not compassionate to allow the worst people in the world to send minor children, some of them victims of sex trafficking, into our country. That is the real humanitarian crisis at the border. You’re not going to exacerbate it through law enforcement. You’re going to fix it through law enforcement. And that’s what Donald Trump is going to do.”

He added that the administration’s top priority was American citizens and showing compassion for them is securing the border.

Donald Trump will hit the ground running to reestablish control over the southern border.
