Jake Tapper’s “water is wet” book misses the mark
CNN anchor Jake Tapper released a new book this week called Original Sin that acknowledges how Biden’s closest advisors concealed his cognitive deterioration from the public.
The book draws from interviews with White House officials and top Democrat operatives who finally decided to speak out about what they witnessed.
But longtime Democrat strategist James Carville wasn’t buying into the hype surrounding Tapper’s so-called explosive revelations.
Carville appeared on Fox News’ The Will Cain Show and delivered a brutal assessment of both the book and Biden’s obvious decline.
“And I think that Jake [Tapper], in that book, I mean, it was a good book, but to me it was a ‘water is wet’ book,” Carville told host Will Cain.
Carville’s point was crystal clear.
Everyone with eyes could see that Biden was mentally declining long before the 2024 election.
The veteran political operative said he had been sounding the alarm about Biden’s unfitness for office since 2022.
“And I was saying this since 2022, alright?” Carville continued. “I think it was a big mistake for him to say he was running for reelection. And I’ve said it at the time and I will say it now, and I will say it a thousand times.”

“I don’t know if it’s his staff, or if it’s the family or who it is, but whatever it was it was just a colossal mistake, and to this day fervently believe, there’s no way to prove it… I think it cost us the presidency,” Carville stated.
Biden finally dropped out of the race in July after his brain melted on live television during the first debate.
He endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris as his replacement, but she lost to Trump in a landslide.
Democrats will be furious that Carville is right
Some Democrats argue that Biden put Harris in an impossible position by waiting to leave the contest until less than four months before the election.

But the CNN anchor also admitted to failing to report sufficiently on the President’s health concerns in his role as a news anchor.
The media was complicit in the cover-up of Biden’s condition.
They ignored obvious signs of decline and attacked anyone who dared to question Biden’s fitness for office.
Now that Biden is out of office, suddenly everyone wants to come clean about what they knew and when they knew it.
