Everyone is still talking about what happened Sunday night at the Academy Awards.
No one could believe what they saw.
But jaws dropped when a leading Democrat had this reaction to Will Smith smacking Chris Rock.
During Sunday night’s Academy Award presentation, when announcing the winner for best documentary film, host Chris Rock made a joke about Jada Pinkett Smith, the wife of superstar Will Smith.
Rock pointed to Jada Smith and said, “Jada, I love ya. ‘G.I. Jane 2’, can’t wait to see it.”
Jada Smith has lost all of her hair due to a condition known as alopecia.
In 1997, Demi Moore shaved her head bald for her role as a female soldier in the movie “G.I. Jane.”
Rock’s joke enraged Will Smith, who ran up to the stage and slapped Chris Rock directly across the face before turning around and walking back to his seat while shouting profanities at Rock.

Democrat “Squad” member Ayanna Pressley also suffers from alopecia.
Pressley wasted no time offering her support for Will Smith’s assault in a post on social media.
“#Alopecia nation stand up!” Pressley wrote. “Thank you #WillSmith Shout out to all the husbands who defend their wives living with alopecia in the face of daily ignorance & insults.”
“Women with baldness are for the real men only only [sic],” Pressley continued. “Boys need not apply.”
However, the tweet was deleted as quickly as it was posted after Pressley realized she was cheering on a criminal assault.
Later during the night, Will Smith won the award for best actor in the movie King Richard, a documentary where he played the father of tennis stars Venus and Serena Williams.
Even though Smith has now apologized to Chris Rock, during his acceptance speech he didn’t mention Rock when offering his original apology.
“I wanna apologize to the Academy. I wanna apologize to all my fellow nominees,” Smith told the audience. “This is a beautiful moment and I’m not crying for winning an award. It’s not about winning an award for me, it’s about being able to shine light on all of the people.”
“Love will make you do crazy things,” Smith stated.
